The Dinuba Aqua Emps closed out their home sched- ule with an impressive show- ing against the Visalia Waves in a Central Valley Recre- ational Swim League meet on June 25.
Kathryne Forbes captured three individual races in the girls 11-12 age group. Forbes won the 50 yard freestyle in 29.68, 100 individual medley in 1 minute, 18.10 seconds and the 50 butterfly in 34.68. She opened the meet anchoring the 200 free relay to a second place finish as Dinuba was timed in 2:22.02. Other mem- bers of the relay team were Abigail Avila, Kyle Alvarado, and Zoe Adaoag.
The Aqua Emps did well in the free relays as the girls 6 and under team of Char- lotte Avila, Kaydence Tristan, Stella Janbergs and Mylah Ar- gumendo won their race with a time of 1:57.50. The boys 8 and under 100 FR of Garrison Alvarez, Rolando Arreguin, Hezakyah Tristan and Aidan Sanchez had a winning time of 1:32.93. The boys 9 and 10 relay squad of Magnuss Jan- bergs, Sean Argumendo, Alex Soto-Guzman and Jorden Forbes also were victorious
in a time of 1:07.34. The girls 13and14200FRteamofEm- ma Garrison, Lauryn Sotelo, Kylee Furman and McKen- zie Corcoran won in a time of 2:12.82 and wrapped up their daywithawininthe200MR with a time of 2:33.49.
The Aqua Emps took the top three spots in the girls 8 and under 25 free led by Vivi- ana Salinas (18.75), Olivyah Kizirian (19.02) and Avah Argumendo (21.55). Salinas would also go on to win the 25 back in 24.14 and 25 fly in 22.85. In that race, Argumendo was 2nd in 25.27 and Kizirian was third in a time of 25.69. Argumendo, Salinas, Addison Ogata and Kizirian also won in the 100 medley relay in 1:45.32.
Kylee Curtis doubled up in the girls 13-14 100 IM (1:19.84) and 50 fly (33.27)
Jade Gibson won the girls 9-10 25 back in 20.75 and mo- ments later finished on top in the 25 breaststroke in 22.62.
Also notching a pair of in- dividual wins for Dinuba was Bryce Bayle in the boys 15- 18 age group. Bayle won the 50 back (37.47) and 100 IM (1:14.32).
In one of the closest races of the meet, S. Janbergs post- ed a victory in the 25 back
(31.76) just ahead of Visalia’s Annika Anderson (31.85).
Other individual winners for Dinuba were Mylah Argu- mendo in the 25 free (28.06); Samual Kizirian, 11-12 50 free (30.50); Shaylah Fletes, 50
free (35.27); Jackson Caudle, 6 and under 25 back (27.21); Rey Chavez, 13-14 50 back (41.29); Nicholas Vassylenko, 15-18 100 IM (1:17.96); M. Jan- bergs, 9-10 25 breast (21.59); M.Corcoran,50breast(41.71);
Michael Vassylenko, 50 breast (33.74).
The Aqua Emps will have their next meet on July 13 as they travel to Porterville for the CVRSL Time Trials.

Volunteers needed for Dinuba youth sports Sports staff
The City of Dinuba Com- munity Services is always in the need of volunteer coaches for our Youth Sports Pro- grams. Coaching information, clinics and meetings will be offered on rules, drills, and policies necessary to be a suc- cessful coach.
All coaches and volunteers are required to be fingerprint- ed and have a background check.

Reedley College will be in- ducting six new members at this year’s Tiger Athletic Hall of Fame banquet, scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 3 in the col- lege cafeteria.
The Class of 2019 Hall of Fame inductees are Nobi Kitaoka, volleyball (1980-2002, 2017-present); Anthony Mont- gomery, football (2003-2005); Curtis Pasma, baseball (2003- 2005); Jessica Baley Quinn, volleyball (1995-1997); Abbi Millwee Riddle, basketball (1998-2000); and Riley Young, football (2001-2003).
