A youth football camp drew 55 players from the Orosi Youth Football League as many in attendance got to fine tune their game under the watchful eye of College of the Sequoias players and a staff from the Giants’ program.
Players who attended the camp held
Saturday at Orosi High’s stadium worked on a variety of drills that included lineman drills, proper stance for wide receivers and route running, cone drills and throwing tech- niques.
OYF Director, Walter Huerta, said play- ers from the OYF will have one more camp and a passing league tournament later this month.
Orosi football campers participated in various drills at the football camp held Saturday at Orosi High School. Campers learned first hand from coaches and staff from College of the Sequoias.

We are less than two months away from the 2019 football season for Valley football, with some scrimmages scheduled to take place in just over a month.
With seven schools in the Mid Valley area, represent- ing four different leagues and multiple divisions, there will be plenty of football to look forward to.
