Ralph Alvarez
The holy rosary will be recited for Mr. Ralph Alvarez
of Sanger at 7 p.m. on Oct. 4 at the new St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sanger and a funeral mass will be celebrated for Mr. Alvarez at 10 a.m. on Oct. 5 at the church.
Mr. Alvarez, 85, died on Sept. 25, 2018. He was a winery foreman.
He is survived by his wife; one son; one daughter; and one grandchild.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Oct. 4 at the new St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sanger.

Mrs. Krystal Kay Davis, 58, of Sanger, died Oct. 4. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Morales, 74, died Oct. 7, 2018. She was a homemaker. She is survived by sons Oscar Morales and wife Patricia of
Fresno, Daniel J. Morales and wife Michelle of Sacramento and Ricardo J. Morales of Sanger; daughter Raquel Kennedy of Fresno; sister Carmela Tamez of Sanger; niece Tina Wheel- er of Sanger; eight grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
Mrs. Morales was preceded in death by her husband Oscar Trevino Moralez, son Mario Morales; and her parents Victo- riano and Francisca Alvarado.
Remembrances may be made to: St. Judes Research Foun- dation, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. on Oct. 11 at the funeral home.

She is also preceded in death by her parents Daniel & Martina Vander- voet, brother Donald Vandervoet, sisters Mena Vander Moren-Blanken, Mata DeRuiter and Martha Koewelyn.

Oscar Woodson Mitchell was born September 25, 1944 and passed September 20, 2018 at age 73.
He moved from Lincoln, Arkansas in his teens to Selma, California and stayed in the area for the duration of his life. Oscar married Sharon Williams in December of 1963 and they had three children, PhilWayne, Susi, and Jeff.
Oscar had 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren and relished in his role as the patriarch of the family.
He was a savvy businessman, an avid golfer, a passionate hunter and outdoorsman, and an ardent American patriot. His zeal for his life was felt by every individual who had the pleasure of hearing any number of his zingers. His familial love was extended to his lifelong friends and will be remembered as a constant and dependable companion.
Oscar is laid to rest in the Sanger Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Sharon, three children, and two brothers, Red and Charlie.
She is survived by husband David Joseph Magnolia of Sanger; son Anthony Magnolia of Sanger; and two grandchil- dren.

Aug. 5, 1928 - Oct. 3, 2018
Our Mother and Grandmother, Helen Ruth Sears, passed away on October 3, 2018, two months after her 90th birthday celebration at Grace Home in Livingston, CA, where she had lived the past 15 months.
She lived most of her life in Sanger, CA, until she moved to Merced, CA. Helen Ruth was very talented in sewing, crochet, cook-
ing, ceramics, to name a few. She leaves us with many trea- sures she made.
Helen Ruth is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Darla and Raymond Lee, whom she had lived with for 6 years, prior to moving to Grace Home. She is also survived by her adored grandchildren, Rebecca Lee and Erin and Todd Stucker.
We are thankful for all of our wonderful memories and are comforted that we will be together again in heaven. We would like to thank Grace Home for making us part of their family and for the loving care taken of Mom. Any memorial contributions should be sent to Grace Home, Inc., 13435 W. Norma Kingen Kennedy
Norma Kingen Kennedy was born on June 16, 1924, in Longmont, CO, and passed away after a long illness on Tuesday, October 2, 2018, in Sanger, CA.
She worked 50 years in the family retail stores and was very involved in her church and the Sanger com- munity. Among other honors, she was chosen as a Grand Marshal of the Sanger Toyland Parade and a Sanger Citizen of the Year.
She was preceded in death by her first husband of 30 years, John Kingen; and son Douglas Kingen.
She is survived by her second husband of 41 years, Robert Kennedy; son, Dale Kingen and husband, Jo- seph Boado; and daughters, Susan Kemp and husband, Jerry, Christi Weybret and husband, Marty, and Cathy Baker and husband, Robert. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held at Wallin’s Sanger Funeral Home on Monday, October 8, 2018, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m.
A Graveside Service was held at Sanger Cemetery on Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at 2:00 p.m.
Services were under the direction of Wallin’s Sanger Funeral Home, 1524 9th Street, Sanger, CA 93657.
