• During a vehicle stop at 8:15 p.m. at Sunset and Dinuba av- enues, officers arrested the driver for suspected DUI.
• A subject check at 9:26 p.m. at Manning and Acacia ave- nues resulted in an arrest for an outstanding warrant.

• During a vehicle stop at 12:39 a.m. at Dinuba and But- tonwillow avenues, officers arrested the driver for sus- pected DUI.

• Officers responded to a report at 9th and L streets of juveniles in possession of THC vape pens.

• Officers made an arrest at Academy Avenue and 9th Street for possession of nar-
cotics and narcotics para- phernalia along with posses- sion of stolen property.
• Grand theft was reported in the 1000 block of Redwood Av- enue.
• Officers made an arrest for an outstanding warrant at 7th Street and Academy Avenue. • Officers arrested a sus- pect for possession of brass knuckles in the 200 block of Bethel Avenue.
• An arrest for an outstand- ing warrant was made in the 2500 block of Almond Av- enue.
• Officers arrested a driver for suspected DUI after a traffic stop at 9th Street and Faller Avenue.
• Grand theft of vehicle parts, a crime dating back to April 20, was reported in the 600 block of Gloria Avenue.

There were 23 calls for ser- vice and no traffic citations were issued from the 7 p.m. through the overnight hours. • Vandalism was reported in the 200 block of Brehler Av- enue.
• Officers made an arrest for possession of an illegal weap- on in the 300 block of Bethel Avenue.
• Assault with a delay weap- on (no injuries reported) oc- curred in the 1300 block of K Street.
• Theft was reported in the 1400 block of George Av- enue.
• Officers arrested three peo- ple for public intoxication in the 1300 block of J Street.

• Fireworks and loud music were reported at 12:10 a.m. in the 1900 block of Olive Way.
• Abandoned property, including a bicycle and
other missing items, were reported found in the 300 block of South Alta Avenue.
• A vehicle stop at 7:02 p.m. in the 1400 block of East El Monte Way resulted in the arrest of the driver for an out- standing warrant.
• A large fire was re- ported in the field across from the dog park at 9:11 p.m. at Nebraska and Oak avenues.
• Five shots were re- portedly fired at 10:45 p.m. from a house that burned down in the 1600 block of Thomas Court. • A person reported hearing four shots and a blue Mustang drive past in the area of Gerald and Crawford avenues at 11:23 p.m.

• A black Charger with primer on the side was reported speeding and swerving at 2:19 a.m. at El Monte Way and Alta
Avenue.
• A vehicle fire was re- ported at 5:18 a.m. at Road 109 and Avenue 424. An engine was re- quested from Dinuba Fire a few minutes later. • The theft of a cell- phone was reported at 8:33 a.m. from the 800 block of Hayes Avenue. • A man reported at 10:23 a.m. that a female stole a metal dog stat- ue that was outside his apartment door in the 300 block of East Tulare Street.
• A vehicle was reported stolen from the Walmart parking lot at noon. •Amanonabicycle carrying a rifle was re- ported at 4:07 p.m. last seen heading east on El Monte Way.
• A physical disturbance involving two males was reported at 7:38 p.m. in the 1400 block of South Alta Avenue.
• A person reported at 11:09 p.m. of hearing two
shots fired, then another six shots, in the area of Nebraska and Oak av- enues.

• Vandalism to the tires on two vehicles was re- ported at 9:57 a.m. in the
1300 block of West North Way.
• A no-details traffic collision was reported at 10:49 a.m. at Alta Av- enue and El Monte Way. • A possible DUI was reported at 1:25 p.m. in the 1600 block of East El
Monte Way.
• A non-injury traffic collision was reported at 2:06 p.m. in the 300 block of Lois Lane.
• A possible DUI was reported at 11:25 p.m. at Kamm and Crawford avenues.

The City of Sanger is accepting applications through May 12, 2021, to Re-Hang/Renew an existing Military Banner. The cost for participation and re-hanging your Military Banner is $35.00 per banner. Application and Program Guidelines are available at the City of Sanger website at www.cityofsanger.net.
NOTE: Due to wear of Banner caused by age and weather, and for public safety, banners that have been hung for four (4) program years are not eligible to be re-hung.
Pay in-Person and Submit Application and Banner at Sanger City Hall
Submit your payment and Renewal Application at the Finance Department. After payment submittal, place your Banner in the “Drop Box” which is located inside Sanger City Hall Lobby.
