Joshua Gracia was crowned as the 2019 Mr. Emperor at Dinuba High School's Hellbaum Adutorium Saturday night. He was crowned by 2018 Mr. Emperor Michael Pena (above). For the talent portion of show, Gracia played piano (below), just one of the many instruments he plays. He plans to one day become a music instructor. He beat out six other contestants for the title.

First Runner-up went to Emiliano Farras, left, and Second Runner-up went to David Cortez. Farras showed a short film he created and Cortez played a newscaster for the talent portion. Both reflected the professions they want to pursue.
The Crowd Favorite, voted by the audience, went to Jarius Lopez, left. For his talent portion, Lopez performed a comedy skit. Mr. Congeniality, voted by the contestants, went to Luis Nieblas, right. He sang the song "Imagine" by John Lennon for his talent portion.
Also competing for the title of Mr. Emperor were Cole Shott, left, and Carlos Sanchez, right. Shott sang the Elvis Presley song "I Can't Help Falling In Love With You" for his talent portion and Sanchez performed a dance routine to a music mix he composed himself.
The opening number and show were directed by Sierra Gonzalez, Brenda Mendoza and Karen Romo of the Dinuba High School Advanced Leadership Class.
The Masters of Ceremony for Saturday night's event were Andrew Santana and Fadra Kiehn. They also served as the ring leaders as the show was entitled "The Greatest Showman".
Michael Pena, 2018 Mr. Emperor, performed the song "Mercy" by Brett Young on guitar as a closing act for the show.
