The Sierra View Homes Retirement Community of Reed- ley has appointed Ro Linscheid as their new Executive Director and CEO.
According to a state- ment released last month from Sierra View Homes, Linscheid has more than 25 years of experience working with seniors.
“Ro also has experi- ence in nursing, social services, activities, ad- ministration,” the state- ment read in part. “Ro looks forward to con- tinuing the tradition of personal, friendly ser- vices for seniors that has made Sierra View Homes one of the most sought-after senior liv- ing communities in the Central Valley.”
Linscheid was serv- ing as the Associate Executive Director and will exchange responsi- bilities with Vito Genna, who was serving as the retirement communi- ty’s executive director. Genna also is a member of the Greater Reedley Chamber of Commerce board of directors.
“The physical offic- es will be switched and tasks have been writ- ten out for each of us,” Linscheid wrote on the community’s website.

Other changes at the retirement community include the expansion of their dining room area.
Linscheid added in her statement that the construction project will continue in “high gear” as they add stucco, glass window placement and plaster board the inte- rior of the building.
“Unfortunately, the project will take us through March due to the abundance of work at other construction sites, inspection reviews and specialty items lag time,” Linscheid wrote in the statement.
Community mem- bers said Linscheid’s goal as executive direc- tor is to continue the tradition of personal and friendly services for seniors living on the facilities throughout the Central Valley.
