Taken into custody were 19-year-old Jesus Fernandez of Dinuba, 23-year-old Miguel Fer- nandez of Orosi and
22-year old Jose Cruz of Orosi.
According to police investigators, the three men were chasing anoth- er vehicle in the neigh- borhood while firing numerous rounds at the field. Police located two handguns that were hid- den when the suspects
spotted responding of- ficers.
Jesus Fernandez was identified as the driver of the pursuing vehicle. He was charged with three felonies, includ- ing discharging a fire- arm from a vehicle and shooting at an inhabited dwelling.
Miguel Fernandez also was accused of shooting a firearm, and faces five felony counts including carrying a loaded fire- arm in public and manu- facture/sale of a large capacity magazine.Cruz also was implicated in the

enter a clubhouse in the 500 block of North Crawford Av- enue.
• An assault was reported at 3:48 p.m. in the 600 block of North Villa Avenue.
• A non-injury traffic colli- sion with road blockage was reported at 4:58 p.m. at East Kern and South L streets.
• An intoxicated subject sleeping in the park in the 200 block of L Street was arrested around 6:30 p.m. and charged with carrying a spring-assisted switchblade knife.
• A suspicious subject was re- ported at 7:25 p.m. in the 1600 block of East El Monte Way. The man was reportedly last seen swinging a crowbar at vehicles.
• Vandalism was reported at 10:45 p.m. in the 42800 block of Road 80.

• A hit and run collision was reported at 8:35 a.m. in the 8100 block of Griggs Road.
• The theft of items was re- ported at 1:56 p.m. in the 1200 block of East Whittaker Way. • A possible DUI was report- ed at 2:35 p.m. involving a white truck heading south on North Alta Avenue.
• A person reported hearing shots fired at 9:48 p.m. in the area of Perry and Millard av- enues.
• A non-injury traffic collision was reported 10:27 p.m. from earlier in the day in the 42800 block of Road 80.
