The Reedley College Ti- gers softball team moved to 4-0 on the season after sweeping a doubleheader against Cuesta College on Feb. 1 in San Luis Obispo.
The Tigers won the first game 10-3 and the second game 18-13.
Julia Jimenez had one home run and eight RBIs combined in the two games.
In the first game, Emily Grimbleby earned the win pitching seven innings and striking out 11 batters.
Jessica Vegely had three RBIs, while Mariah Patter- son had two RBIs.

The Immanuel High Eagles boys basketball team battled back from an eight- point first quarter deficit but fell to the Selma High Bears 75-73 on Jan. 31 in Selma.
Nate Kendricks scored 20 points, while Kaleb Da- glish had 16 points. Jordan Rodriguez and Shawn Rodg- ers each scored nine points.
The Eagles rebounded from the loss to Selma, with a 93-43 throttling over Exeter

In the second game, Lau- ren Costa earned the win on the mound.
Jimenez had a home run and seven RBIs, while Valle- jo had a home run and two RBIs. Patterson also had two RBIs, while Aunika Castel- lanos, Hunter Young, Shubin and Grimbleby each had one.

The Reedley College Ti- gers men's basketball team moved to 4-6 in the Central Valley Conference with a 96- 84 win over Cerro Coso Col- lege on Feb. 3 in Reedley.

“This team is full of high character girls. They all work hard and never quit,” Wilkin- son said. “We might be over- matched some nights, but no- body is going to out work us. No matter what the situation is, we are going to compete every possession.”

“Their goal at the beginning of the season was to try and make playoffs. It was a lofty goal after going 1-9 in league last season,” Wilkinson said. “We are focusing at going one day at a time and getting better. Hopefully we can get another win and have an opportunity to be in the playoffs.”
RHS Boys Basketball
The Reedley High Pirates boys basketball team lost to Roosevelt High 57-54 on Feb. 1 at Reedley High.
Florian Stasch led the Pi- rates with 10 points. Anthony Figueroa and Roger Ortiz each had six points.

The Pirates girls soccer team came from 2-0 down to defeat the McLane High Highlanders 3-2 on Feb. 2 at Sal Gonzalez Field.
They then defeated the Fresno High Warriors 3-1 on Feb. 5 in Fresno.
In the game against McLane High, Emma Mulligan, Jennifer Gordillo and Kiki Sunamoto each scored a goal.
No statistics were avail- able for the game against Fresno High.
As of Feb. 6, the Pirates were 16-6-2 overall and in first place in the NYL at 9-0.
The Pirates ended the regular season on Feb. 7 against Hoover High.

Annie Regier, former Immanuel High standout, competed in her first collegiate meet on Jan. 27 for the Fresno Pacific University Sunbirds.
Regier finished fourth overall in the high jump in the final standings at the University of
Washington Invitational.
Regier cleared a personal best of 5-feet-7 inches to win her flight in the high jump.
The mark put her tied for second all-time in FPU's program history.
Regier graduated from Immanuel High in 2016.
