The Quail Lake Environmental Charter School 36-member 8th grade promoting class of 2018, with promotion certificates in-hand, had a good time singing the "Quail Lake Song" one last time while families and friends snapped photos and shot videos at the conclusion of the June 6 promotion ceremony.

The theme of the Quail Lake Environmental Charter School promotion ceremony on June 6 was based on the words of Walt Disney, "All of our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them."
Promoting students shared their dreams in a video that was shown before the traditional "Pomp and Circumstance" signaled the entrance of the 36 promoting students. Eighteen had attended the Quail Lake school on Ashlan Avenue north of Sanger since kindergarten.
There were four valedictorians, Anterjot Jaj, Clara McCol- lum, Rafia Saleem and Ashley Schletewitz.
The Tom Flores Award went to Anterjot Jaj and Zachary Patton.
QuailLakePTOawardswerepresentedto HarjanToor, Jillian Hoover, Laurel Machoian, Anthony Souza, Rafia Sal- eem and Ashley Schletewitz.
James Abajian and Laurel Machoian received FCA awards.
Sanger Rotary club scholarships went to Nikki Drews and Jillian Hoover.
Clara McCollum and Harjan Toor were named Falcons of the Year.
