“Yes it is so cold out,” she said. “But we hear its suppose to be nice so we’re excited. The theme is tractors, and we’re not here to see a partic- ular float, we just want to see the whole thing we’re really excited for it.
There were prizes given for floats, judging criteria was based upon effort, creativity. theme and overall appear- ance.
The $125 sweepstakes was awarded to entry number 18, Jim’s Christmas Trees. First place, and the winner of $100 was awarded to entry number five; the City of Reedley’s Pub- lic Works department. Second Place, and the winners of $75 were awarded to entry num- ber four, Reedley 4-H. Third place, and the winner of $50 was awarded to entry number 25, Newton Sano.

Mark Lozada, who lives nearby, caught the altercation on video, and it shows a police vehicle in the foreground and a massive cloud of smoke. “I thought they were going to start shooting,” he said.
Duran said the suspect left a pile of burned rubber in the street.
The chase began there and continued 5 to 7 minutes before being discontinued for safety reasons. But the Tahoe, after people reported seeing it driving erratically in north Reedley, returned to

Chairs and blankets like the ones in the photograph lined the streets in downtown Reedley on Dec. 6. Locals began setting out their chairs and blankets as early at 8 a.m. that morning to insure they had a good spot to watch the parade.
Sanger and was spotted driv- ing around downtown. A num- ber of people saw the Tahoe at different locations.
A number of people shot video of the vehicle in vari- ous locations. Duran said he
had arrested the suspect on suspicion of driving while in- toxicated about a half dozen years ago.
