WIS Football Signups
The 13th Annual Emps Summer Basketball Camp wrapped up last week. A total of 55 players who attended the camp worked on various drills. DHS coaches and players helped lead the camp. All campers will receive a basketball for participating in the camp compliments of the AB3 Foundation.

In the girls 6 and under 25 free, Janbergs pulled out a win in 26.87 and in the boys 6 and under race, Alven Soto-Guzman along with Jackson Caudle went 1-2 with times of 34.03 and 34.08. The two then traded places in the 25 back event as Caudle won in 28.26.
Dinuba recorded a sweep in the 8 and under 25 free led by Olivyah Kizirian (17.89), Viviana Salinas (18.86) and Avah Argumendo (19.23).
H. Tristan and Smoljian also took the top two spots in the 25 free with times of 28.58 and 20.76. In the 25 butterfly, Smoljian won the event in 24.62 as Tristan was close behind at 27.00. Tristan also was first in the 25 breast with a time of 28.61.
Kylee Curtis and McKenzie Corcoran had times of 30.18 and 31.66 for the top two places in the 13-14 50 free and moments later repeated their efforts in the 50 back. Curtis had also posted a winning time of 1:16.90 in the 13-14 100 Individual Medley.

edged Selma’s Devin Sanchez (31.70) in the 8 and under 25 backstroke. Dinuba picked up another win in that event as Gibson won the 9-10 race in 20.56.
In a meet against Sanger on June 13, Forbes captured three individual events. She won the 50 free in a time of 29.74. the 100 IM in 1:16.14 and the 50 fly in 35.31.
M. Janbergs (23.15), Guzman (23.58) and S. Argumendo (23.97) took the top three places in the 25 breast.
Alonso Soto-Guzman had a five second victory in the 11-12 50 fly in 38.45 and 50 breast in 40.40.
The girls 6 and under relay team of M. Argumendo, A. Rodriguez, C. Avila and S. Janbergs won the event in 2:05.33. Janbergs went on to win the 25 free in 27.13 to lead a clean sweep in that event. Argumendo was 2nd in 31.54 followed by Avila (34.87), Rodriguez (35.31) and Patricia Hernandez (38.36). Avila also was victorious in the 25 back in
31.56.
A. Soto-Guzman was first in
the 100 IM in 1:19.54 and the 50 breast in 40.78.
Kizirian took first in the 25 free in 17.90 and teammate Viviana Salinas was 2nd in 18.44.
In the 11-12 50 breast, K. Alvarado touched first in a time of 46.39.
Caudle posted a seven second victory in the 25 free in a time of 24.37. He also won the 25 back in 28.52.
Also capturing two events was Smoljian who had a winning time of 24.32 in the 25 back and the 25 fly in 26.63.
Nicholas Carrion and Justin Gutierrez went 1-2 in the 50 free with times of 29.88 and 30.39.
Jade Gibson took the 25 back in 21.47 and Jorden Forbes won a close race in the same event with a time of 20.84.
M. Janbergs won the 25 breast in 23.08 and S. Argumendo was close behind in 2nd in 23.69.
Emma Garrison tied in the 50 back with Sanger’s Kaity Hood as they were timed in 41.57.
Kylee Curtis had a solid meet on Saturday as she captured the 13-14 girls 50 free, 50 back and 100 IM.

City of Dinuba 2019 Youth Soccer registration is taking place through June 21. Cost is $46 per child and there is a family discount (siblings) with $7 off second and $10 off third child. No refunds after Aug. 30.
