Tulare County's CATTCH Unit instrumental in  nding suspect
Sentinel staff report-
On Thursday, Mar. 7, Officers with the Stockton Police Department contacted the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office and asked for help finding Rogelio Gonzalez Valencia. Stockton Police said Valencia had an active homicide warrant for vehicular manslaughter and was possibly staying in the Tulare County area.
On Friday, Mar. 8, detectives with the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office CATTCH Unit developed information that he was possibly in the Orosi area. Detectives went to a home in the 12800 block of Ave 416 and found Valencia there. He was taken into custody on his homicide warrant from the Stockton Police Department without incident and booked at the Tulare County Adult Pre-Trial Facility.
The County Apprehension Team Tracking Criminals in
Hiding (CATTCH) Unit was formed by Sheriff Boudreaux in October 2015 to assist the investigations and patrol divisions of the Sheriff’s Office in finding and apprehending outstanding criminals in hiding. The CATTCH Unit is tasked with the collection of case information, investigation and the ultimate arrest of Tulare County’s most wanted individuals.
This case remains under investigation and anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of wanted fugitives is encouraged to call Sergeant Steve Sanchez with the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office at 733- 6211.

Dinuba Police Department arrests in the last week.
• Rogelio Hernandez Valdez, 27, of Dinuba was booked on Mar. 4 on suspicion of vandalism, a misdemeanor.
Police say he was contacted during a public disturbance in the 200 block of West North Way, where he had been placed under private person arrest for defacing personal property.
When officers arrived, he was taken into custody, booked and later released with a promise to appear in court.
• Derek Martin Rhodes, 30, of Dinuba was booked on Mar. 5 on suspicion of burglary, a felony.
According to police, he made entry into a fifth wheel trailer and took property that did not belong to him and sold the property. Police say he did
not have permission to be in the trailer. He was arrested in the 1300 block of North Alta Avenue, booked and later transported to the Tulare County Pretrial Facility.
• Melissa Ann Subia, 38, of Dinuba was booked on Mar. 6 on suspicion of battery to a spouse or cohabitant, a misdemeanor.
Officers say she was contacted at her residence in Dinuba and admitted to pushing her husband out of her way in order to gain access to her bedroom. After obtaining a statement from her and the victim, she was placed under arrest and transported to the Dinuba Police Department for booking. She was later transported to the Tulare County Pretrial Facility for housing.
• Jose Miguel Andrade, 29, of Dinuba was booked on Mar. 7 on suspicion of trespassing and being under the influence
of a controlled substance, both misdemeanors.
According to police, he entered a business in the 200 block of West Tulare Street without permission. He had reportedly been previously issued a no-trespass warning at the business.
While conducting the investigation, officers say he displayed symptoms of being under the influence of a controlled substance. He was taken into custody, booked and later transported to the Tulare County Pretrial Facility.
• Jorge Augustine Lopez-Avila, 19, of Dinuba was booked on Mar. 8 on suspicion of vandalism and battery on a person, both misdemeanors.
Police say officers made contact with him after being dispatched to a physical altercation between two males in the 100 block of North H Street. Upon arrival, and during

interviews, it was determined that he struck the victim with a closed fist, which led to the physical altercation.
In addition, police say he also struck the victim's car with a bar, breaking the front windshield.
He was arrested at the scene, booked and later released with a promise to appear in court.
• Raul Reynoso Jr., 25, of Cutler was booked on Mar. 10 on suspicion of battery to a spouse or date, a misdemeanor.
Officers say he and the victim were involved in an argument. The victim reportedly asked him to leave her residence and he refused. Police say the victim then attempted to close the front door when he grabbed her left wrist and pulled her out of her residence.
He was arrested in the 1000 block of East Whittaker Way, booked and later transported to the Tulare County Pretrial Facility.
Rogelio Gonzalez Valencia was wanted out of Stockton for vehicular manslaughter and was recently apprehended by Tulare County Sheriff's Deputies in Orosi.
