Initially, the pumpkin patch was only open to schools for student field trips, but eventually they decided to open to the public.
“Now we do field trips from Monday through Fridays, and we are open to the public Sat- urdays and Sundays for about five weekends,” she said. “In October yes, it’s always busy when we open to the public, it gets crazy.”
She said they are also expanding their parking spaces.
“Our attractions change with the seasons, so in October we usually have two steam trains running, we also have the food vendors, face painting, we do hayrides and pumpkins,” she said. “Open one more week- end, admission is $10 per carload,andatChristmas time we always open the Saturday of Thanksgiv- ing weekend.”

A small red train was displayed near the steam trains at Hillcrest Farms.
A child-size house and castle are among the attractions at the farm.
Cars lined up at an opposite entrance of the farm near the steam train attraction and food vendors.

Twin brothers Alec and Adan Rubalcava visited Hillcrest with family and friends, they both said they enjoyed their time there.
Lines of cars visiting the farm waited to find parking in- side the property.
