After Ivan Zavala's 52-yard touchdown dash gave the visitors the early lead, an interception set up Camarillo's 11-yard run for the tying score. Leading 10-7 at half, Orosi used a 13-point out- burst in the third quarter to pull away.

Sanger High's cross country boys and girls varsity squads made the most of a brief trip to the coast last week, capturing the Division 1, 2 and 3 team titles at the Meadow Park Invitational in San Luis Obispo on Oct. 27.
Led by first place finisher Da- vid De Loera, the Apache boys had five of the top six finishers to post a near-perfect score of 18 and easily top runnerup Righetti (82). Senior DeLoera clocked 15 minutes, 25.8 seconds over the 3-mile layout, beating out team- mate and fellow senior Emanuel Salas (15:42.4) Other SHS run- ners in the top six were junior Myles Nicacio (fourth in 15:53.4), sophomore Daniel Galvez (fifth, 16:19.9) and junior Jonathan Mar-

Sanger's girls had five runners placed in the top 10, led by a third place finish from Nereyda Alva- rez, to score 25 points and beat out Bakersfield's Highland High (43), currently the top seed in Di- vision III in the Central Section.
On Oct. 29, the Apache girls
won the team title while Sienna Bianchi placed first at the Clo- vis East Twilight Invitational. two-mile run. Sanger's boys were third in the team standings.
Sanger will compete at the County Metro Athletic Confer- ence championship meet Wednes- day, Nov. 10, at Woodward Park in Fresno.

This week, the Reedley College women's basketball team opened a new season with a Nov. 3 game at Hartnell College in Salinas.
The season-opening week continues as coach Stan Kilbert's squad faces LA Harbor in the LA Harbor crossover and Oxnard College on Friday, Nov. 5.
The Lady Tigers home season be- gins at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 9, against Modesto.

Andrew Camarillo, sophomore running back for Orosi High, rushed for 103 yards and four touchdowns as the Cardinals clinched second place in the West Sequoia League with a 38-20 victory over Orange Cove on Oct. 28. Camarillo has rushed for 1,458 yards and 30 touchdowns this season for Orosi, which travels to the high desert Nov. 5 for a Central Section Division V first round matchup against Boron High.
