The Dinuba Knights of Columbus will be hosting a fundraiser dance Aug. 10 at the Dinuba Memorial Hall. The dance will the bands Balazzo and Poderoso. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the dance beginning at 7:30 p.m. and lasting until 12:30 a.m. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. The Dinuba Knights of Columbus will also be raffling various items during the event. Pre-sale tickets are available at Serrano’s Furniture Galleries at 205 East Tulare Street Dinuba and at Cross Country Mortgage at 1060 G Street in Reedley. The Celebrant Singers will be performing live in concert on Sunday, Aug. 11, at the Dinuba Mennonite Brethren Church at 10 a.m. The Celebrant Singers are an international music and missions ministry who began back in 1977. They have traveled all around the world and have even had the honor performing in front of Pope John Paul II and Mother Teresa.
Dinuba Mennonite Brethren Church is located at 110 North Nichols Avenue in Dinuba. A free will offering will be received.
The Alta District Historical Society plans an art exhibit featuring the work of A.J. Gorini on Aug. 20. The exhibit will be held at the ADHS White House, located at 289 South K Street in Dinuba, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The Dinuba Chamber of Commerce will also be having their monthly mixer during the event. Open Gate Ministries will be celebrating its 45th Anniversary at a Red Carpet Event on Sept. 5 at Living Word Fellowship in Dinuba. The event will include hors d’oeuvres, dinner and entertainment and will begin at 6 p.m. Vegetarian options will be available up until Aug. 19.

The Dinuba High School Class of 1979 will be having its 40th Class Reunion on Sept. 28 at Fort Washington Country Club in Fresno. The event will be a business casual attire event (T-shirts and/or jeans will not be permitted). Social hour will begin at 5:30 p.m. Dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m. Entertainment will start at 7:30 p.m. and dance will begin at 8:30 p.m.

Martha Granados-Lemons earned a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and worked in the education eld for 20 years. Martha and her husband Powell retired in 2017 from Bethel Christian Center, Fresno. Martha has ministerial credentials with the Assemblies of God. She has ministered as Evangelist, Conference Speaker, Pastor and International Short Term Missionary (Mexico, Chile, Africa, and the Philippines.) Martha ministers from the Word of God and moves in the Gifts of the Spirit as God anoints. By obeying the Lord’s call to preach the good news of the gospel she has seen the POWER of God set captives free and heal the sick. She is currently serving as the Women’s Director at Valley Life Community Church in Selma.
