tion with an emphasis in percus- sion. He is a Dinuba High alum and is familiar with COJUSD.
“I have family who works here and I live nearby,” Hernan- dez said.
Hernandez will be assist- ing the high school and middle school music programs. He will also be teaching music to fourth
and fifth graders at each school site as well as serving as the di- rector of the fifth grade band at Cutler Elementary School.
“It’s a busy schedule, but I’m excited,” Hernandez said.
In Reedley, Immanuel Schools begin the 2019-2020 school year on all levels on Mon- day, Aug. 12. First classes for St.
La Salle Catholic School will be on Tuesday, Aug. 13, while all Kings Canyon Unified Schools (including Reedley and Orange Cove high schools) begin the year on Wednesday, Aug. 14.
In Sanger, the first day of in- struction at all Sanger Unified schools will be on Thursday, Aug. 15.
