February 25, 1931 ~ March 2, 2020
Shirley Ann Schuil of Dinuba, California passed away at the age of 89 on March 2, 2020,
and went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Shirley Ann Vander Wall was born on February 25, 1931, to Robert and Ann Vander Wall in Redlands, California. She attended grade school and high school in Redlands, and it was during this time that she accepted Jesus Christ as Savior and learned to put her trust in Jesus. After attending college, she taught school for two years. She married Elmer Schuil in 1953 and they began their family. In 1961, the family moved to Dinuba where they raised their ve
children.
Shirley continued her teaching career at Cutler Elementary
School, where she taught for 20 years. After retirement, she pursued a real estate career working for her sons at Schuil & Associates. Shirley was very active in the community, including serving on the Dinuba Chamber of Commerce. Shirley’s relationship with God was rst in her life. Knowing the Lord and doing His work was always her joy, her peace, and her life. She was a member of the Dinuba Presbyterian Church, where she served throughout the years as an elder, deacon, Sunday School teacher, and Bible Study leader.
Shirley is survived by her children: Janolyn (and Darrell) Visser, Leanne (and late husband, Jerry) Martens, Michael (and Cindy L.) Schuil, Marc (and Cindy J.) Schuil, and Richard (and Necia) Schuil; 16 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; her brother, Bob (and Ava) Vander Wall; and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service will be held on Monday, March 9, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at the Dinuba Presbyterian Church.

Orosi man struck and killed March 8 in hit-and-run incident
Edward Glenn Yamamoto
With his family’s hands and hearts joined together with Ed’s, he passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2020, knowing how much he was loved and cherished.
Ed was born in Fresno and was raised in the Lone Star area, grad- uating from Lone Star Elemen- tary School, Sanger High School, Reedley College, and Fresno State. He worked as a Health Analyst for the County of Fresno from 1975 to 2010.
In 1987, Ed and his family moved to the Yamamoto fam- ily farm to help his parents and to raise the kids. Ed loved his family immensely and was so proud of his amazing chil- dren and grandchildren.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents, Seichi and Ma- saie Yamamoto.
Ed is survived by Mona, his wife of 43 years; son, Michael Yamamoto and wife, Heather; daughters, Breanne Phillips and husband, Dallen, Tisha Jett and husband, Tanner, Brit- tany Bunnell and husband, Kurt; grandchildren, Tyson and Reece Phillips, Cash and Corbin Jett, Brooklynn Yamamo- to, and Benjamin and Tora Bunnell; and sister, Donna and husband, Scott Thompson.
A Celebration of Ed’s Life will be held at the Domoto Family Ranch at 530 N. Rio Vista, Sanger, CA on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at 1:00 pm.

Law enforcement is looking for a informa- tion on a vehicle that struck and killed a 55-year-old Orosi man in Orosi on March 8.
California Highway Patrol officials said Je- sus R. Meza was found laying in the roadway on Road 124 south of Risley Avenue shortly after 8:30 p.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene by responding
medical personnel. Investigators deter- mined that Meza was walking and struck by the unknown make and model of vehicle. They believe the vehicle fled the scene heading south.
