Roosevelt Park, other projects being funded through ATP
MVT Staff Report
Sidewalk improve- ments continue in the city of Dinuba with the latest completed project at Roosevelt Park.
The sidewalk there and many other side- walk improvements are funded (in part) through the Active Transporta- tion Program (ATP), according to Daniel James, assistant city manager.
“Much of the work for these projects is be-
ing done in partnership with CSET (Commu- nity Service Employ- ment Training),” stated James. “The partner- ship not only helps in- stall and improve side- walks throughout the community, it also pro- vided hands-on training to CSET trainees.”
The City of Dinuba Parks, public works and engineering crews work closely with CSET on design and implemen- tation of these projects, according to James.

DINUBA SHOOTING Continued from page A1
According to a news release from the Dinuba Police Department, an arriving officer contacted Taylor on the scene. Taylor was known to police from multiple contacts in the past at her residence, the re- port read.
Taylor reportedly was initially cooperative with officers, although she continued yelling at them and acting irate. Officers believed they had calmed Taylor enough, and left the residence and walked toward one of their patrol units parked across the street.
