• A Sanger motorcycle police officer was in- volved in a non-injury traffic collision in the 500 block of Greenwood Avenue when a vehicle failed to see his bike and pulled out and struck the officer and the bike. The officer was not injured and the bike sustained only minor scratches.
• A subject was arrest- ed for shoplifting in the 2700 block of Jensen Av- enue after being caught shoplifting inside a busi- ness.
• A non-injury two vehi- cle traffic collision was reported at the intersec- tion of O Street and Jen- sen Avenue.
Saturday, June 13
There were 142 calls for service and 17 traffic citations were issued.
• A subject was arrested
for possession of drug paraphernalia in the 1700 block of Cherry Avenue.
• A field interview was conducted in the 1700 block of 7th Street where a male subject was advised to cease all contact with his ex- girlfriend after she had reported being harassed by him.
• A subject was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia in the 1800 block of J Street, where he was taken into custo- dy for the offense.
• A male subject was issued a trespassing advisement after he was observed entering Walmart and concealing a bottle of liquor. While the subject was being followed, he reportedly discarded the bottle.
• A female was arrested for trespassing in the 2500 block of 5th Street. She reportedly entered an apartment without permission in the area and caused a distur- bance. Upon investiga- tion, officers discovered she had been served a trespassing warning a few weeks prior and was warned that she was not allowed at the apartment.
• A report of a subject wearing all black clothing
and breaking the driver’s side window to a vehicle was made in the 1000 block of Faller Avenue. Upon arrival, officers located a subject match- ing the description but he was not positively identi- fied by the victim. During the investigation, the sub- ject was reportedly unco- operative and displayed signs of being under the influence of alcohol. Of- ficers arrested him for public intoxication.
• An officer was flagged down in the 200 block of Academy Avenue by a male subject who advised he was at a house party in the area of Academy and Church avenues when he was assaulted by an un- known subject. He report- edly declined medical at- tention and refused to press criminal charges against the unknown person.
Sunday, June 14
There were 113 calls
for service and 12 traffic citations were issued.
• A warrant arrest was made in the 400 block of Academy Avenue after an officer made a sub- ject check at the Sanger City Park.
• A gang field inter- view was conducted on a subject in the area of Greenwood and Central avenues.
• Two subjects were ar- rested for possession of a controlled substance in the area of Eastwood and Tucker avenues af- ter a vehicle traffic stop was conducted. Four oc- cupants were contacted and two were discovered to be on active probation. One subject also report- edly had an outstanding warrant. During a search of the vehicle, a quarter size baggie that contained a crystallized substance was found stuffed in be- tween the seat where
both probationers were seated. All occupants were questioned regard- ing the narcotics and all denied it was theirs. Due to the narcotics be- ing within arm’s reach of both probationers, they were arrested, booked and later transported to Fresno County Jail.
• A male subject report- edly walked in to the AM/PM store on Acad- emy Avenue with a head injury. He reportedly told the clerk he was struck in the head with a stick by an unknown male at Sanger City Park. Officers arrived and located the subject at the park, where EMS attended the subject. Video surveillance re- vealed an altercation did occur, however, the video was slightly ob- structed by a large tree at the park. The investi- gation is ongoing.

a double homicide in Fowler. The ve- hicle was traveling west on Manning Avenue on the wrong side of the road. The vehicle eventually collided with a train at Manning and Golden State Boulevard. The driver/suspect was killed in the collision.

Officers arrested a suspect after interviews.
