Eugenio E.
Esquibel
Eugenio E. Esqui- bel Jr. of Traver died March 17 in Visalia. He was 74.
Mr. Esquibel worked as a truck driver.
He is survived by his wife, Erlinda B. Es- quibel, two sons, four daughters, his parents, six brothers, seven sis- ters, 10 grandchildren and three great-grand- children. He was pre- ceded in death by one brother.
Visitation will be from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Fri- day, April 16, at Dopkins Dinuba Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at a later date at Smith Mountain Cemetery in Dinuba.
Irene H. Kabel
Irene H. Kabel of Carmichael died March 22 in Fair Oaks. She was 93.
Mrs. Kabel was a re- tired factory line work-
er.
She is survived by
one son, two daughters and many grandchil- dren. She was preceded in death by her hus- band, Clarence Stanley Kabel.
A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Thurs- day, April 16, at Smith
Mountain Cemetery in Dinuba.

Amy Rivera
Amy Rivera of Orosi died March 21 in Orosi. She was 72.
Ms. Rivera was a pastor.
She is survived by one brother and three sisters.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Thurs- day, April 1, at Dopkins Dinuba Funeral Chapel. A graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 2, at Smith Moun- tain Cemetery in Dinuba.

Casimiro Saldivar
Casimiro Saldivar of Sanger died March 23. He was 69.
Mr. Saldivar was a retired rigger.
He is survived by his wife, Bruna Saldivar of Sanger, one daughter, one brother, four sis- ters, three grandchil- dren and two great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers.
No services were held. Wallin's Sanger
Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
Frank Sanchez
Frank Sanchez of Visalia died March 6. He was 63.
Mr. Sanchez worked as a DJ, and was known by DJ Pancho.
He is survived by one daughter and two grandchildren.
Visitation was held March 30 at Dopkins Dinuba Funeral Chapel.

Maria Carmen Mar- roquin de Yanez of Reedley died March 21 in Reedley. She was 81.
Mrs. Yanez worked as a packer.
She is survived by one daughter, two broth- ers and three grandchil- dren. She was preceded in death by her hus- band, Roberto Maya Yanez, her parents and three brothers.
Visitation and a mass was held on March 31 at St. Anthony of Pad- ua Catholic Church in Reedley. Burial was at Smith Mountain Cem- etery in Dinuba.

Sodhi teaches fourth grade at Sanger Academy Charter School, Greer is the Child Nutrition Specialist for the district and Martinez is Deputy Superintendent for Administrative Services.

Andrew J. Velasquez
September 27, 1924 ~ March 29, 2020
In the early morning hours of March 29, 2020, Andrew J. Velasquez passed away peacefully at his Fresno home. He was 95. He was born at Rancho Sespe, Ca. to Tomas and Porfidia Velasquez on September 27, 1924.
He enlisted into the Army and became a 50 caliber gun operator during WWII in Europe. Upon his return, he met his wife to be, Lucy. They were married for 71 years.
Andrew was preceded in death by his wife Lucy A. Velasquez. He is survived by his brother Raul and his wife Rita Velasquez of Reedley.
Lucy A. Velasquez
August 27, 1929 ~ March 2, 2021
On the afternoon of March 2, 2021 Lucy A. Velasquez passed away at the age of 91. She was born in Reedley to Jose and Mercedes Ayala on August 27, 1929.,
With her brothers serving in the service, she helped her father with the ranch duties. She married Andrew Velasquez on November 7, 1948 and became a homemaker to her family.
Lucy is preceded in death by her husband Andrew J. Velasquez. She is survived by her sister Mercy Marquez of Fresno, brother Harvey Ayala of Stockton, Ca.

Their surviving family is a son Adrian J. Velasquez; grandson Eric Alvarez, granddaughter Serena Alvarez; great-grandsons Alexander and Xavier; great-granddaughters Alyssa Mikaylen and Mylah Cortez; and great-great-grandson Xander.
They were laid to rest along side each other on March 29, 2021 in a dual service at the Reedley Cemetery.
They will once again be together for eternity!

The Sanger City Council is sched- uled to discuss five action items at its Thursday, April 1 video meeting. The meeting begins at 6 p.m.
The council is scheduled to vote on Mayor Eli Ontiveros' recommendation to appoint Hilda "Monique" Reyna to the Citizen's Oversight Committee for Measure S. The appointment would be for the current term ending on June 30.
The council also will discuss and vote on the proposed purchase of 10 additional cameras and data storage for body-worn camera setups for Sanger police officers. The recom- mendation would include approving a
quote from Axon Enterprises, Inc. for the purchase of the cameras for the next five years beginning this month. City Manager Tim Chapa would ex- ecute the agreement.
Other action items are a proposed 1 percent salary increase for IUOE Stationary Local 39 workers effective July 1; authorizing additional budget for the Bridge Preventative Mainte- nance project; and assessing revenue generated from the AT&T Tower lease agreement.
