• A suspicious subject was reported in the area of Alta and North at 2:49 a.m.
• Vandalism was re- ported in the 200 block of West North Way at 6:25 a.m.
• An unwanted person was reported in the 300 block of South Alta Av- enue at 8:11 a.m.
• A gun was reported stolen in the 200 block of South J Street at 12:13 p.m.

• A welfare check was conducted on a 68-year- old male who hadn’t been seen in three days. Upon officer’s investi- gation, the man was lo- cated in his residence deceased. No foul play was suspected.
• A report of identity theft was made in the 1700 block of Metzler Avenue.
• A report of a verbal disturbance was made between a male and fe- male in the 400 block of Academy Avenue. It was later determined the male was in violation of a restraining order.
• A disturbance and shot fired was reported in the 300 block of Bethel Av- enue. An apartment was struck by gunfire but no injuries were reported. • A subject was cited in the 400 block of Acade- my Avenue for being in a park after hours.

• A non-injury traffic collision involving two
vehicles was reported in the area of Jensen and Greenwood avenues.
• A report of a physical disturbance was made in the 1300 block of I Street. Officers deter- mined it to be a mutual combat and neither par- ty requested charges.
• Three subjects were arrested in the 200 block of Academy Avenue for an ongoing investiga- tion regarding an assault with a deadly weapon that had occurred the previous day.
• Sanger police assisted Fresno County Sheriff’s deputies regarding a stolen vehicle, which re- sulted in a vehicle pur- suit through the city of Sanger. The vehicle was stopped in the county and two occupants were taken into custody.
• A subject was sent for a 72-hour mental health evaluation in the 1200 block of O Street.

Juana Rios Rodriguez
June 24, 1937 – March 22, 2020
Juana Rios Rodriguez of Reed- ley, passed away on March 22,
2020. She was 82 years old. She was a resident of Reed-
ley for a long time. Juana worked as a fruit packer
for many years.
She is predeceased by
her husband Jose Zuniga. Juana is survived by her
three daughters, Yolanda Rodriguez Munoz, Ninfa
Islas, and Carmen Carmago, one son, Bernard Rodriguez,
nine grandchildren, 16 great- grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services are pending. Cairns Funeral Home is making the arrangements.
