Audrey Virginia Hovey was born July 10, 1932 in San Rafael, CA. She went home to be with the Lord Jesus, February 10th 2018 at the age of 85.
Mom laid down to rest for a bit, woke up in Glory and began her eternal residency.
Her passion for the Lord Jesus was rst and foremost in her life. She never met a stranger and each person she met would hear something about how much she loved Jesus and how much Jesus loved them.
Audrey was preceded in death by her husband, Dave Hovey and her only son, Jim Wordley.
e family that will miss her so much is her Sister, Sandy Hammond- Oklahoma; Ellen Michell (Husband Kerry)-Reedley; Grandchildren, Joel Fedor (wife Debbie)-Selma; Sean (Traci) Fedor-Reedley; Natalie Fedor-Selma; Grace Fedor-Reedley; Caleb Fedor-Selma; Emily Fedor- Selma; Ava Fedor-Reedley; and the most recent addition to Great Grandma Hovey’s prayer list was the birth of her Great Great Grandson Stark Michael son of Cody and Kelsi. She also leaves behind her dear friends, Barbara Barcome & family (husband Gary)-Arizona; Mary and George Bradley of Oregon; Ken and Gwen Baker-Africa.
Mom loved all the family but she had an extraordinary love, prayer life, and commitment to Great Grandkids. Great Grandma Hovey was their biggest fan. It didn’t matter if it was school, sports, art, drama, or music. She would be there if at all possible of course “ ey” were the best. e most recent delight and blessing was being able to see and hold her Great Great Grandson Stark Michael.
She was a blessing and we were Blessed. As mom would say,
“Lord Bless You!”
