The commence- ments continued on May 20 (Social Sci- ence, Arts & Music and English) and May 21 (STEM, Early Child- hood & Education, Busi- ness). All graduates then had the opportu- nity to participate in an open ceremony on May 22 at the college.
Now, it's on to the younger graduates — high schoolers.
There are three commencement cer- emonies scheduled this week for region schools, beginning on Thursday, May 27. First comes Dinuba High School (Dinuba Uni- fied) and Orange Cove High School (Kings Canyon Unified). Di- nuba High's graduation will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. on Claud He- bert Field, with parents and family again in at- tendance in the stadium stands to cheer on their young man or woman.

Dinuba High's varsity basketball team had its only home doublehead- er of the season on May 21, and posted a sweep of visiting Orosi High School. the girls pulled away in the second half to win by a 54-32 score while the boys rolled to a 75-52 decision.

Last year, stu- dents had to hold indi- vidual "virtual" gradu- ation ceremonies with family and top school officials.
KCUSD's high school graduations con- tinue next week, with the Dunlap Leader- ship Academy students graduating at 6 p.m. fol- lowed by the Education- al Options (Kings Can- yon High School, Adult School) ceremony at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 1, at RHS stadium.
On Wednesday, June 2, Reedley Middle Col- lege High SChool's Class of 2021 will have a 7 p.m. graduation cere- mony on their own cam- pus at Reedley College. KCUSD promotions, meanwhile, will take place Thursday, June 3 for all middle and K-8 schools in the district.
Orosi High School's 2021 graduation will take place Thursday, June 3, from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at Ed Coats Sta- dium on campus. The following week, Sanger High School will have its graduation over two days on Thursday and Friday, June 10 and 11, at the Save Mart Center in Fresno.
Reedley Police responded to a traffic accident on Reed Avenue near 10th Street on the morning
of May 19. When officers arrived they found a white sedan on the front lawn of a home as well
as an industrial truck hauling a tractor. A third vehicle parked along Reed Avenue was also dam- aged. The details of what happened are not known, no one was home at the time of the crash and no injuries were reported.

Among Mid Valley Times cities in the county through May 25 (Fresno County's new dashboard surveillance is providing updates for regions rather than cities; updates have been spotty), the Sanger region remains with the most total overall positive cases with 6,102 (4,500 in the city proper) and 63 deaths with no recent updates from the FCDPH website. Through the May 25 update, Reedley (including immediate surrounding rural areas) still showed 4,454 cases (3,500 in the city proper) and 72 deaths; Parlier was at 2,970 (2,500 in city) cases with 37 deaths and Orange Cove had 1,500 (2,820 regional) cases and 13 deaths.
Del Rey was at 307 cases (900 in region) while Fowler had 1,256 cases (1,000 in the city) and 21 deaths through May 25. The region that includes Squaw Valley, Dunlap and Miramonte had 316 total cases on the new data surveillance website through May 25. The county no longer is listing recoveries in its surveillance data.

A total of 48,962 people (97.7 percent) in Tulare County were listed as recovered as of May 25.
