CITY OF DINUBA COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Dinuba City Council, has set a public hearing on December 14, 2021, at 6:30 pm (or shortly thereafter), at the City Council Chambers located at 405 East El Monte Way, Dinuba CA, as time and place to conduct a public hearing to review the past use of funds and program performance for the City of Dinuba’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program contract 18-CDBG-12906. These funds provided by the State of California Department of Housing and Community Development require a review of the close-out documents, and to solicit citizen input regarding the outcome and accomplishments of the funding received and expended under these programs. The activities were as follows:
18-CDBG-12906: The City received a total of $3.6 Million from the CDBG Program that is comprised of all grant dollars. The funds were used to complete the Kern Street Storm Drainage Improvement Project.
The project has now been completed and all grant funds have been requested from the State for reimbursement. In keeping with CDBG regulations, the City met the low/mod income person benefit for meeting a National Objective.
