An unidentified man was struck and killed by a truck while trying to cross State Route 63 in Cutler just after dark on Nov. 27.
The accident oc- curred shortly after 5 p.m. just south of the intersection of 63 and Orosi Drive, according to the California High- way Patrol. The 60-year- old man — who was not identified as of Nov. 30 — apparently crossed the road heading east when he was struck.

The City of Sanger is accepting applications to fill two (2) positions on the Planning Commission with a term expiration of January 2026.
The Planning Commission meets regularly on the 4th Thursday of each month at 6:00 pm in the City Hall Council Chamber.
