Saturday, July 27 — Reedley Friends of NRA Fundraiser Dinner. Doors open at 5 p.m. at Reedley Community Center 100 N. East Ave. Dinner, drawing for prizes and a live/silent auctions are scheduled. The “Friends of NRA” is the nonprofit / non-political part of the National Rifle Association. Friends of NRA events boil down to one goal, fundraising for the future of shooting sports. A variety of ticket and sponsorship packages are available for the dinner, and people purchasing higher-priced packages are eligible for a drawing to win a Springfield 1911 .45 ACP. The Reedley Reading Group invites you to our monthly book discussions. We meet the first Tuesday of each month at 10:30 a.m. at the Reedley Library located on 1027 E. St. Even though you may have not read the book we invite you to come over anyway and listen to our discussions. The title of the books we will be reading are posted in the library. Learning is a snap! — Elenco's Snap Circuits makes learning electronics easy and fun! Kids have fun while learning the basics of electricity. Lets see what we can make. These classes will be taking place the first and third Wednesday of every month for ages 6 and up. Classes will begin at 2 p.m.
Builders Club — Join us at the Reedley Library and create Lego masterpieces with other Lego enthusiasts. They will be held every second and fourth Wednesday of each month for ages 5 years and older.

DINUBA
The Dinuba Senior Center holds Coffee & Conversation every Monday at the center’s Social Hall from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at 437 N. Eaton Ave. This month, the center is doing rock painting. Details, Cece Bobst at 591- 2450.
Bingo is held from 8 to 11 a.m. every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at the Dinuba Senior Center, 437 N. Eaton Ave., in Room A-3 of the center. Dinuba Senior Director Cece Bobst, says bingo offers certain health benefits for those who play. It enhances coordination and reflexes, assists in healing, increases physical health, boosts hand- eye coordination, boosts memory, prevents isolation and provides opportunities

Dinuba Christian Church plans its Vacation Bible School from July 21 to July 25. The program will be held at the church, located at 355 East Saginaw Avenue from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Dinner will be served from 6 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., with a suggested donation of $1 for kids and $2 for adults. This year's VBS theme is Roar! Life is Wild, God is Good. For more information, call 591-4454.
The Alta District Historical Society plans an art exhibit featuring the work of A.J. Gorini on Aug. 6. The exhibit will be held at the ADHS White House, located at 289 South K Street in Dinuba, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The Dinuba Chamber of Commerce will also be having their monthly mixer during the event. The Dinuba Knights of Columbus will be hosting a fundraiser dance Aug. 10 at the Dinuba Memorial Hall.
The dance will the bands Balazzo and Poderoso. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the dance beginning at 7:30 p.m. and lasting until 12:30 a.m. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. The Dinuba Knights of Columbus will also be raffling various items during the event. Pre- sale tickets are available at Serrano's Furniture Galleries at 205 East Tulare Street Dinuba and at Cross Country Mortgage at 1060 G Street in Reedley. The Dinuba High School Class of 1979 will be having its 40th Class Reunion on Sept. 28 at Fort Washington Country Club in Fresno. The event will be a business casual attire event (T-shirts and/or jeans will not be permitted). Social hour will begin at 5:30 p.m. Dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m. Entertainment will start at 7:30 p.m. and dance will begin at 8:30 p.m. The cost to attend is $60 per person.
