and now I am Custodial Team Leader for all Sanger High School sporting events. If you have ever attended one, you have probably seen me. I now have a unique opportu- nity to utilize the relation- ships and knowledge that I have through all my years with the district, serving on the Chamber Council, PTA and watching my own kids attend Del Rey Elementary, Washington Academic and Sanger High School. I have
a true passion for commu- nity success. I wanna help to inspire them to continue that Sanger Spirit.
Now more than ever, fami- lies need representation on the School Board to protect family values and to keep parents informed about their children's safety and growth.

School board candidates
As a lifelong citizen of Sanger, I am thankful to have the opportunity to serve on the School District’s Board of Trustees. To be a part of an award-winning district is truly an honor and I see this position as extremely pivotal in supporting the legacy of our school district. My com- mitment to our town consists of my community service
as President and Immediate Past President of the Sanger
Rotary Club. In addition, my numerous years of dedica- tion to my local church, Life Tabernacle of Sanger, has allowed me to work with children, youth, and adults in various capacities. This, along with living in a home where my father modeled community involvement has strengthened my desire to live a life of “service above self.”
As your Trustee, I will work in harmony with our other board members to continue building hope and future for our children. With critical needs such as an additional high school and improvements to current facilities, I will commit my efforts to seeing these needs become a reality. With so much of Sanger’s future contingent on what happens
in our children’s classrooms, I will work diligently to provide the necessary tools to ensure that our approxi- mately 11,000 students have the advantages they need to succeed in school and ulti- mately in their adult lives.
For the past 10 years, I have worked as an account- ing and office manager for Carpet Corner. Over these years, I have developed the requisite skills necessary to work with the public I serve. This has allowed me to un- derstand the need to provide my customers with a product we could stand behind...we are only as good as our name. As your Trustee, I pledge to work for all of my custom- ers to provide a good name for Sanger Unified School District.
Hi, I'm Jesse Solorio or as most people know me as "Jes- se the Janitor." I am proud and excited to be a candidate forSangerUnified's School Board area 6. I have been involved with Sanger School District in one way or an- other over the last 36 years, not only as an Employee but as a parent and a homeowner. Thirteen of those years I
was the custodian for the MP room at Sanger High School
challenges, balancing long hours, understanding their kids' technology and hav-
ing the time to engage with their educational needs and goals. We need to hire and retain quality teachers. We must ensure that the work environment is positive, respectful and recognizes the hard work and dedication of its employees.
Sanger Unified needs someone who understands that supporting our school administrators, teachers, AND parents, is one of the GREATEST STEPS we can take to ensure our children receive the best education.
I would be honored to have your vote.
