As of 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, there had been 984 confirmed cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Fresno County, with 10 deaths.
Among Mid Valley Times cities, Sanger (including the region to the northeast) had the most positive cases with 82 while Reedley

had 61 cases. Parlier had 45 cases while Orange Cove had 43 cases. Del Rey was at six cases while Fowler has four or fewer cases. The county reported that 333 of the positive cases had recovered.
In Tulare County, there were 1,241 confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 52 deaths as of
12:30 p.m. on May 12. Breakdowns by cities/regions now are available, with 243 cases in Dinuba, 36 in Orosi, 22 in Cutler and less than 11 each in rural areas south of Reedley, in the Traver area and east of Orange Cove.
A total of 172 people had recovered from the virus in Tulare County.

"Once we got the go-ahead, the adminis- tration was great," she said. "They were like 'just make our kids feel special. Make them feel loved and appreciated.' And so we did."
