Gleaners
Reedley residents who are 55 years of age and up can come to the Reed- ley Community Center on Wednesdays at 8:30 a.m. for free fresh fruit, vegetables and bread. The center is at 100 N. East AVe.

HICAP
Do you have questions about your Medicare ben- efits? The Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program is at the senior cen- ter 9-11 a.m. on Tuesdays.
HICAP provides person- alized unbiased, confiden- tial, individual counseling to Medicare beneficiaries. HICAP counselors can as- sist you with choosing and/ or enrolling in Prescription Drug Plans and Medicare Health Plans.
They also can help with filing original Medicare and private insurance claims and/or preparing Medicare appeals.

a staff member will assist in setting up an account at one of the office’s kiosks for future registrations.

of a family member or a friend who has memory loss. The aim is to meet each month for mutual emotional, educational and social support. Orga- nizers say: “We would like to see participants de- velop methods and skills in coping and problem solving in their situation. is part of a free series aimed at people over 60 who want to “lead the most ful lling life pos- sible.” This two-parter is called “Seven Habits of Highly Effective Seniors.” Part one focuses on seven habits that seniors can embrace to live happier, fuller lives.
