Kaleb Cole had 10 points while Andrew Lo- pez added nine points, an assist and two steals in the first win. Against Madera, Luke Karle scored 10 points includ- ing all five of his free- throw attempts, and 13 different players scored for the Apaches (12-11, 4-2). The Dinuba High Em- peror boys bounced back from their first Central Sequoia League basket- ball loss with a home victory Jan. 28 over the Immanuel High Eagles, securing their hold on first place.
Isaiah Martinez col- lected 17 points and nine rebounds while Anthony Harp added 12 points, six rebounds and four assists as the Emps (21- 3, 7-1 CSL) posted a 63-47 win at DHS. The bounce back victory came two days after visiting Selma came into DHS gym and left with a 61-49 upset victory.
Dinuba maintained a solid two-game lead into the CSL standings heading into their Feb. 1 home game against sec-
ond place Kingsburg. That contest – along with all remaining DHS basketball games this season — was switched to Washington Inter- mediate School gym in Dinuba because of wa- ter damage beneath the floor of the high school's west gym.
The Emps never led against Selma, falling behind 15-0 in the first quarter and never mak- ing a serious run at the visitors. Keine Prendez paced Dinuba with 17 points, nine rebounds and two assists while Harp added 12 points including four three-pointers.
Immanuel's Ryan Chavez scored 20 points, but was the Eagles' only double figures scorer at Dinuba. Earlier in the week, Chavez poured in 21 points in a 65-45 road rout of Exeter. Immanu-
