Reedley High (7-17, 2-4) lost two North Yo- semite League contests at home last week, in- cluding a 67-58 setback to first place Sunnyside as Jajuan King poured in 25 points. The Pirates also dropped a 74-32 de- cision to Hoover, which blew out to a 41-13 half- time lead.
Reedley embarked on a three-game road trip this week, includ- ing a Thursday, Feb. 3, road game against Fres- no. The Pirates' only NYL on-court win came against the Warriors, a 58-46 home decision at RHS on Jan. 11.

The Reedlley College women's basketball team is scheduled to return the court on Monday, Feb. 7, after two losses to West Hills Coalinga and two canceled games.
Reedley, now 0-3 in the Central Valley Con- ference in 4-13 overall, faces Porterville College in the Monday 5 p.m. contest.
In the Tigers' only game last week, Reed- ley fell to West Hills Lemoore 64-49 at home on Jan. 29. Maryon Hodges came off the bench to lead the Tigers with 12 points on four of five 3-point shot at- tempts. Chastity Mar- tinez played the whole 40 minutes and finished with 10 points and six assists while Aman- deep Kaur recorded 18 rebounds while KeAira Lerrell-Harris added 10 rebounds.
Reedley now has lost 10 straight games.

Dinuba and Hanford West split their two CSL games this season. The Huskies posted a 55-51 win in Hanford on Dec. 9 while the Lady Emps gained revenged with a 60-41 win in Dinuba on Jan. 20.
The Lady Emps' home finale on Feb. 7 against Central Valley Christian will be played at Washington Interme- diate because of water damage to the DHS west gym floor. Any DHS home playoff games also would be played at Washington.
Immanuel (8-17, 4-5) host Selma at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 3, then plays at first place Han- ford West on Tuesday, Feb 8.

Sanger High's boys made an impressive run through Madera last week, posting 4-1 victo- ries over Madera South (Jan. 26) and Madera High (Jan. 28). Isaiah Villalobos padded his team-leading goals total with two more scores while Santana Mercado and Ezequiel Chavez also scored.
Reedley (13-5-3 over- all) also improved to 6-0 in league, edging second place Sunnyside 2-1 on Jan. 25 and then trounc- ing Hoover 11-0 on Jan. 27. Jose Magallon scored both RHS goals against the Wildcats, while Se- bastian Preheim led the scoring against the Pa- triots with three goals.

The arrival of February means the prep wrestling season heads into the postsea- son portion of compe- tition.
Reedley High School ended its North Yosemite League dual season on Feb. 1, then will participate in the league tournament Friday, Feb. 4, at Sun- nyside High School in Fresno. Weigh-ins are at 7 a.m. with first matches at 9.
Next week is the start of section wrest- ing events. Dinuba High will participate in the Division I tour- nament on Saturday, Feb. 12, at Clovis East High School. That same day, Sanger High will compete in the D- II tourney at Monache High in Porterville while Reedley will try to advance qualifiers at the D-IV/V event in Madera.
