The Kings River Conservancy received a $50,000 grant this week from the Cen- tral Valley Community Foundation from the Ted Martin Fund.
A major part of the funding will be used to re-establish the trail from the County Access Point next to Choinumni
to the All-Access Fish- ingArea. Itwillinclude clearing a rough trail and removing invasive wild fig and any dead and dangerous trees or limbs. Debris and trim- mings will be stacked uphill of the trail in or- der to provide habitat for wildlife.
