Obituaries
The Dinuba Sentinel
Jose Omar Andrade
Jose Omar Andrade, a resident of Dinuba, died January 23, 2019. He was 35.
He was self-employed.
Visitation will be held at his parents residence from 3 p.m. – 8 p.m. on Thursday, January 31. Rosary will start at 6 p.m. Funeral mass will be on Friday, February 1 at 11 a.m. at St. Catherine of Catholic Church.
Surviving family members include his parents, a companion, a daughter and a brother.

Monday, January 21
• A carport reportedly blew onto a neighbor's residence, damaging a vehicle in the 1100 block of San Antonio Avenue. It was reported 8:22 a.m.
• A tile cutter was reportedly stolen in the 300 block of North Alice Avenue. It was reported at 1:06 p.m.
• A theft report was made in the 300 block of South Alta Avenue at 1:41 p.m. A female reportedly took beer and a male subject with her allegedly threatened the cashier there.
• A possible electrical fire was reported in the 500 block of Davis Drive at 2:38 p.m.
• A non-injury traffic collision was reported in the intersection of West Sierra Way and Samantha Avenue at 5:08 p.m. The accident involved a green truck and a brown truck.

Salvador Camacho
Salvador Camacho, a resident of Dinuba, died January 21, 2019. He was 53.
Services were held on January 28.
Surviving family members include two brothers, a sister, eight nieces and a nephew.

• A theft report was made in the 700 block of West El Monte Way at 6:27 p.m. A female was detained at Walmart after taking items from the store.
• Vandalism was reported in the 100 block of North Alta Avenue at 8:20 p.m. A juvenile on a skateboard was reportedly hitting the walls at Wing Stop.
• A theft report was made at Dinuba High School at 8:46 p.m. Juveniles reportedly broke into a shed near the high school track.
Tuesday, January 22
• A power line was reported down in the 200 block of South O Street at 7:22 a.m. A possible grass fire was also reported.
• An unwanted person was reported in the 200 block of West North Way at 1:36 p.m. A white male with shoulder length hair, wearing all black was reportedly by a dumpster near Alta Avneue.
• Transients were reportedly staying near the back fence to a residence in the 700 block of
Misty Blue Ortiz
Misty Blue Ortiz, a resident of Dinuba, died January 1, 2019. She was 41.
She was an assistant manager.
Services were held on January 28.
Surviving family members include her parents, spouse, two sons, two daughters, two brothers, a sister, and a grandchild.

Billy Wayne Williams
Billy Wayne Williams, a resident of Dinuba, died January 26, 2019. He was 70.
He was a transportation manager.
Graveside service with military honors will be on Thursday, Jan. 31 at Smith Mountain Cemetery.
Surviving family members include his wife, three daughters and 12 grandchildren.

Daniel P. Villareal
Daniel P. Villareal, a resident of Dinuba, died January 25, 2019. He was 72.
He was a bus driver.
Rosary will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 31 at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Dinuba. Funeral mass will be at 11:30 a.m. and visitation will befrom12p.m.–2p.m.atthe church.

• A subject was seen sleeping in a vehicle in the 1700 block of East El Monte Way at 5:39 a.m.
• A public disturbance was reported in the 200 block of West North Way at 11:56 a.m. A male and female were reportedly yelling at each other and the male allegedly threatened to hit the female.
•Asubjectsetupinatenton a property in the 1200 block of South Alta Avenue and refused to leave. It was reported at 2:52 p.m.
• A fire was reported in the 100 block of North Nichols Avenue at 5:17 p.m. The fire was reported as a trash can fire in the alley way.
• A male subject called 911, reportedly sounded out of breath and running, and stated "he has a gun." The call came from the area of Crawford Avenue and Bolinger Way.
• A fire was reported in the 1600 block of East Sierra Way at 8:17 p.m. A fire was reportedly seen in the middle of the playground field at Jefferson Elementary School.
• Two noise complaints for loud music were reported in the late hours of Jan. 25. One call came from the area of Davis Drive and Mark Avenue at 10:27 p.m. and the other came from the 200 block of North H Street at 11:27 p.m.
Saturday, January 26
• Vandalsim was reported in the 1200 block of East Golden Way at 2:00 a.m. A subject reportedly keyed a vehicle and was last seen headed towards College Avenue.
• A commercial burglary was reported in the 100 block of West Tulare Street at 10:58 a.m. Someone reportedly attempted to break in by attempting to open a duct on the roof and a
great grandchildren.

Arlo E. Westmoreland, a resident of Dinuba, died January 29, 2019. He was 83.
He was a dam tender.
Surviving family members include his spouse and a brother.

• A commercial burglary was reported in the 7700 block of Avenue 426 at 10:57 p.m. Two subjects reportedly broke into Mesa's Auto and Diesel Repair.
• A noise complaint for loud subjects was reported in the 1600 block of North Crawford Avenue at 11:29 p.m. Subjects were being loud and playing loud music near a basketball court there.
Sunday, January 27
• A noise complaint for loud subjects was reported in the 1500 block of Eaton Avenue at 2:38 a.m.
• A fire was reported in the 500 block of West Kern Street at 3:24 a.m.
• Three juveniles were reportedly seen climbing into a window above the auditorium at Dinuba High School at 1:59 p.m.
• An unwanted person was reported in the 600 block of West El Monte Way at 2:49 p.m. A subject was causing a disturbance by throwing things around and was refusing to leave.
• Domestic violence was reported in the 600 block of North Euclid Avenue at 11:01 p.m. A male in a white shirt and blue jeans was reportedly in a physical altercation with a female there.

Pacific Circle. It was reported at 4:07 p.m.
• A structure fire was reported in the area of El Monte and I Street at 5:46 p.m.
• A theft report was made in the 700 block of West El Monte Way at 6:34 p.m.
• A domestic violence report was made at Adventist Hospital in Reedley, where a victim from Dinuba reportedly suffered a 'blown out socket' to her left eye. It was reported 8:30 p.m.
Wednesday, January 23
• Trespassers were reported in the 500 block of North Crawford Avenue at 8:07 a.m. Subjects, possibly former tenants, were reportedly trying to enter a residence there.
• A subject was seen entering the back yard of a vacant home and leave with items on West Franklin Way. It was reported at 2:46 p.m.
• An unknown subject reportedly stole two lawn mowers, a red one and a yellow one. The incident was reported in the 800 block of North Alta Avenue at 3:11 p.m.
• A group of 10 to 15 subjects were reportedly smoking marijuana behind a business in
the 1600 block of East El Monte Way at 4:00 p.m.
• A male was reportedly chasing a female in the 2100 block of East El Monte Way at 7:23 p.m. The male subject was reportedly wearing a dark sweater and a white baseball cap.
• A woman in the 1100 block of North Villa Avenue reported that her ex-boyfriend called her and said he was going to kill her. It was reported at 10:29 p.m.
Thursday, January 24
• Vandalsim was reported in the 400 block of North K Street at 8:14 a.m. Someone reported driving in the area and believed his vehicle was shot at after his window shattered.
• A male subject with long hair and wearing a black sweater was reportedly going into people's yards in the area of Sequoia Drive and North Alta Avenue. It was reported at 1:59 p.m.
•A trespasser was reported in the 800 block of Buttercup Avenue at 7:46 p.m.
• An assault was reported from Adventist Hospital in Reedley at 9:45 p.m. A victim there had reportedly been assaulted by her sister.

The Dinuba Sentinel was established on Feb. 11, 1909, then succeeding the Orosi Offer which was established on April 21, 1902, and on Jan. 15, 1917, the Dinuba Advocate. The latter, when established, absorbed The Traver Advocate, which was established Oct. 9, 1875. The Kingsburg Sentinel, which was established on Feb. 20, 1947, consolidated with the Dinuba Sentinel on Aug. 28, 1951. Reaffirmed as a legal publication under California statute and Tulare County Civil Code No. 19523 on April 2, 1928.
