Monday, August 24
• An unwanted person was reported in the 500 block of West El Monte Way at 10:15 a.m.
• An assault was re- ported in the 300 block of North L Street at 2:09 p.m.
• A reckless driver was reported in the area of El Monte and Euclid Av- enue at 4:15 p.m. • Ani- mal control responded to a call of a pit bull biting a young man in the nose
The Reedley Police Department handled 544 public-initiated and offi- cer-initiated calls for ser- vice, with 92 dispatched as Priority 1 calls. Offi- cers completed 88 police reports, made 29 arrests and issued 15 traffic ci- tations. There were four traffic collisions and five DUI cases, two fire calls and 16 medical aid calls.

There were 116 calls for service and 3 traffic citations were issued.
• Officers responded to the 2500 block of Santa Maria Avenue for a re- port of a female subject possibly being abused by her husband. Upon investigation, officers determined her husband broker her phone during an argument when she attempted to call police. He was arrested and later transported to the Fresno County Jail.
• Officers responded to the 600 block of N Street for a report of vandal- ism to a business. The reporting party said a male subject on a skate- board broke the window to the front of the busi- ness and reached inside and attempted to take items. The suspect fled the scene when he was startled by a witness. Officers later located
in the 900 block of North Elizabeth Way. It was re- ported at 7:18 p.m.
Tuesday, August 25
• A suspicious subject was reported in the 300 block of East Northridge Avenue at 3:29 p.m. It was reported three males were standing in front of a residence then began walking away.
• Mail theft was re- ported in the 600 block of South Alta Avenue at 6:42 a.m.
• Loud music was re- ported in the 700 block

• A DUI arrest was made in the 3000 block of Jen- sen Avenue after offi- cers responded to a re- port of a traffic accident in the area of Jensen and Indianola avenues. Upon arrival, officers discov- ered a single vehicle stopped in the field af- ter it failed to turn onto Jensen Avenue while traveling southbound on Indianola Avenue. The driver was found to be intoxicated and was tak- en into custody.

• Two arrests were made in the 1600 block of Jen- sen Avenue after an of- ficer conducted a vehi- cle stop and found both driver and passenger to have outstanding war- rants.
