Monday, August 10
• An unwanted person was reported in the 200 block of West North Way at 4:46 a.m.
• Vandalism was re- ported in the 200 block of West Tulare Street at 11:22 a.m. It was report- ed a window was dam- aged at Cricket Wire- less.
The Reedley Police Department handled 551 public-initiated and officer-initiated calls for service, with 94 dispatched as Priority 1 calls. Officers com- pleted 78 police reports, made 22 arrests and issued nine traffic ci- tations. There was one traffic collision and five DUI cases, seven fire calls and 20 medical aid calls.

Josephine V. Zavala
July 24, 1934 - August 1, 2020
Josephine beloved Mother and Grandmother passed away at
the age of 87. She was born
in Reedley, CA. where she attended local
schools.
She married Vincent R. Zavala
Sr. together they raised six children: Vincent R.
Zavala Jr., Christine Zavala, Ron Zavala, Vera Zavala, Alex Zavala, Paul Zavala.
She was a member of Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church where she was a Catechist and member of  e Catholic Daughters of the Americas.
Josephine was the  rst Hispanic Real Estate agent in Reedley at Valley Land and Investment for many years. She enjoyed traveling with family and her sisters. She loved going on retreats each Spring at Saint Clair’s with family and friends.
Josephine is preceded in death by her parents Guada- lupe and Cataline Valencia, husband Vincent R. Zavala Sr., daughter Vera Zavala, son Paul Zavala, son Alex Zavala, granddaughter Laurie Zavala, and granddaughter Hillary Zavala.
She is survived by her sons Vince R. Zavala Jr. (Becky), son Ron Zavala (Margaret), daughter Christine Zavala, nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Private service to be held for immediate family only, due to Covid 19 virus.

Robert J. Cerio
Robert J. Cerio passed away on June 15, 2020 at home surrounded by his loving family.
Bob was a man of great integrity, humor and character.  e way he lived his life and treated others will forever be remembered and cher- ished by everyone he met and loved.
Bob was a veteran of the U.S. Army, he served in Vietnam.
Bob is survived by his wife of 45 years, Pamela.  ree children, Joseph, Jessica and Hector, Jason and Erin, and two grandchildren Zachary and Addison. His mother Helen Keefe, brother Donnie Keefe, sisters Hope and Lori Keefe of New York.
He is preceded in death by his sister Linda Lee Cerio and father Robert A Cerio , stepmother Lucy Cerio.
May God Bless and hold him in the palms
of His hands. You are greatly missed my love!
