NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Environmental Assessment No. 2021-13 Change of Zone Application No. 2021-3
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in accordance with Sections 65090 and 65091 (Planning and Zoning Law) of the Government Code; and, pursuant to the procedures of Title 10 of the Reedley Municipal Code, the Reedley Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing to consider the following and make a recommendation to the City Council of the City of Reedley:
1. Environmental Assessment No. 2021-13: pertains to the finding that no new environmental document is required for Change of Zone Application No. 2021-3 (Ordinance No. 2021-002), pursuant to California Environmental Quality Act Guidelines, Section 15162 and 15168(c)(2).
2. Change of Zone Application No. 2021-3 (Ordinance No. 2021-002) pertains to the reclassification of two contiguous properties identified as APN 370-121-07, which is currently zoned as RM-3 (Multi-Family Residential), and APN 370-121-11, which is currently zoned as C-AO (Administrative Office), to the CC (Central and Community Commercial) zone district designation. The proposed CC (Central and Community Commercial) zone district designation is consistent with the Office Commercial General Plan Planned Land Use Designation on both properties.

Ordinance No. 2021-003: An ordinance of the City Council of the City of Reedley amending Title 4, Chapter 1 of the Reedley Municipal Code pertaining to Solid Waste collections and regulations.
The purpose of Ordinance No. 2021-003 is to provide updated detailed definitions and clarifying language pertaining to City and State requirements for the collection of solid waste within the City of Reedley City Limits. Ordinance changes include requirements for Organic Waste Recycling per State mandate. The Ordinance repeals the existing Chapter 1 of Title 4 and replaces Chapter 1 with updated required language.
