QUEZON CITY ORDINANCES: BUILDING A RESPONSIBLE AND SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS ECOSYSTEM



                    INCLUSIVITY


                                               SP-2357, S-2014
                                               COMPREHENSIVE ANTI-DISCRIMINATION POLICY ON SOGIE
                                               Prohibits  discrimination  based  on  Sexual  Orientation,  Gender  Identity,  and
                                               Expression (SOGIE).
                                               PENALTY:  Imprisonment  from  60  days  to  1  year,  fines  ranging  from  ₱1,000  to
                                               ₱5,000


                                               SP-2472, S-2015
                                               EXEMPTING SENIOR CITIZENS FROM PARKING FEES
                                               Exempts  senior  citizens  from  paying  initial  parking  fees  in  establishments  with
                                               public parking facilities.
                                               PENALTY:  ₱500  to  ₱2,000  fine  or  1  to  30  days  imprisonment,  with  potential
                                               revocation of business permits


                                               SP-2804, S-2018
                                               MANDATING COURTESY SEATS FOR PWDS, PREGNANT WOMEN, AND
                                               SENIORS
                                               Requires  establishments  to  provide  priority  seating  for  PWDs,  pregnant  women,
                                               and senior citizens.
                                               PENALTY:  ₱5,000  fine,  6-month  suspension  of  business  permits,  with  potential
                                               revocation for repeated offenses


                                               SP-1767, S-2007
                                               MANDATORY POSTING OF CHILD PROTECTION NOTICES IN CERTAIN
                                               ESTABLISHMENTS
                                               Requires posting of child protection notices in establishments such as nightclubs
                                               and supermarkets to safeguard minors.

                                               PENALTY:  ₱2,000  to  ₱5,000  fines,  with  possible  suspension  or  revocation  of  the
                                               establishment's license for repeated offenses

                                               SP-784, S-99
                                               PENALIZING THE HIRING OF CHILDREN AND MINORS IN BUSINESS
                                               ESTABLISHMENTS
                                               Penalizes businesses for hiring or employing children and minors to protect them
                                               from exploitation.

                                               PENALTY:  ₱5,000  fine  or  1  month  imprisonment,  potential  cancellation  of  the
                                               mayor’s permit


                                               SP-2134, S-2012
                                               PROHIBITING FEES FOR SENIOR CITIZENS AND PWDS FOR RESTROOM
                                               USE
                                               Prohibits charging restroom fees for senior citizens, PWDs, and expectant mothers.

                                               PENALTY: ₱5,000 fine or up to 1 year imprisonment
