ACKNOWLEDGMENTS

First and foremost, I would like to thank my two lovely daughters, Pola and Lena,
for inspiring me every day to accomplish my goals and set new ones. Every smile

and gesture gives me the motivation to keep going.

Being a mother has also given me the opportunity to learn new and unexpected
things from their grandparents, who are always supportive and by our side.

Grandparents are an invaluable source of knowledge for adding skills to a child’s
upbringing. I would also like to thank my own grandparents for everything they
taught me when I was growing up. Thanks to them, I learned how to see the world
from a different point of view.

Special thanks to Tony Reyes for seeing something in me that no one else did,

thus giving me the chance to realize my own potential as the author of this beauti-
ful children’s book.

Many thanks to Ervin and Alina Matvejāne at LadybugOnChamo-
mile,Inc., for their adorable felt animal creations. This book came
to life with these wonderful and colorful animal characters!

Finally, I would like to thank both parents and grandparents all over the world, be-
cause you make a difference. It’s a privilege to be able to create these stories, and
an honor to know you will be sharing them with your little ones. I hope you will use
this book to teach them about the importance of families, and
appreciating the timeless wisdom they impart.
