CORNWALL ARMY CADETS SHINE
Cornwall Army Cadets took part in Armed Forces Day in Falmouth on in late June. The Falmouth event was chosen as the national celebration and all effort was made to make it an amazing occasion.
Over 100 cadets and adult volunteers
took part in the parade while many others were helping behind the scenes. Serving personnel, reservists, veterans and cadets from Army, Navy and Air Force took part.
The cadets also took part in a Field Gun Demonstration which they have been training for over the last few months. It was fantastic to watch!
One of the things we pride ourselves
on at Cornwall Army Cadets is facilitating
the opportunity to create many memorable moments. We believe in providing the best possible experience for both cadets and adult instructors. There are only a handful
of moments in a person’s life which you remember for the rest of your life. Armed Forces Day in Falmouth is one of those very special days.
We are extremely proud of our cadets and adult volunteers who marched with their heads held high, beaming with pride and showing what an amazing organization Cornwall Army Cadets are.
It was a great experience for our cadets
to meet Brigadier Holmes MBE, Deputy Commander Cadets who has such a fantastic impact on the cadets and the Duke of Gloucester who is Royal Colonel, of the 6th Battalion, The Rifles.
