It is my delight to welcome you once more to The Wish Stream! As my tenure as Comman- dant draws to a close, I can reflect on an Acad- emy that continues to be full of hard-working and dedicated staff and Officer Cadets from the UK and our international allies. And as importantly, one that is active across a wide range of pur- suits, as you’ll read in the coming pages: from our mainstay military exercises, with some excel- lent commentary on adventurous training expe- ditions, to high sporting accolades and wider academic pursuits, not to mention the sterling fundraising efforts of Officer Cadets from across the Academy.
Sandhurst has long maintained a tradition for international defence engagement; perhaps most obviously through our welcome of a grow- ing and mutually beneficial cohort of international Officer Cadets undertaking both the Regular Commissioning Course (CC), and most recently Commissioning Course Short (CCS). But beyond this, of course, we have regular involve- ment in overseas exercises, such
as ORYX ENDEAVOUR with Qatar and exchanges and visits, such as to the Brazilian Military Acad- emy, as well as competing on the world stage in the Sandhurst Cup Competition, hosted by the United States Military Academy at West Point.

of our young men and women for command has long been the privilege of Sandhurst.

As ever, you can read fascinating insights into some of the adventur- ous training expeditions that has

It is this strength of diversity at Sandhurst that we should be truly proud of.
The preparation of our young men and women for command has long been the privilege of Sandhurst. It is therefore wholly appropriate that this year has seen all regiments and corps of the
seen some 580 Officer Cadets operate across 18 countries. But Sandhurst is of course more than just Officer Cadets and I would commend the valuable contributions from the Sandhurst Support Unit providing commentary on their own overseas adventurous training exercises.
The Sandhurst Trust has continued to develop from strength to strength, dispersing a record £107,000 to cadet causes, as well as running the 3 commissioning balls, 40 reunions, 89 tours and a total of 234 separate events. Tak- ing advantage of the fantastic facilities and sur- roundings that we have here at Sandhurst, the Trust continues to not only develop income to
