THE TALE OF TWO FOUNTAINS
We very much hope that the Fitzgerald Fountain which was built around the same time as the above fountains, will enhance further the city’s rich historic and architectural heritage and get the ‘heri- tage status’ it deserves. It will also recognise the ingenuity of cast iron engineering. This would be a way forward to cherish the historic scene in the city.
