BIENNIAL RIFLES AWARDS DINNER AT GUILDHALL
In November, at a momentous event held at Guildhall in the City of London the regiment came together to celebrate its unique identity and honour the exceptional contributions of Riflemen from across our Five Pillars.
The evening was a testament to our commitment to excellence, featuring a distinguished guest list, including the Colonel-in-Chief, Her Majesty The Queen and two Royal Colonels. Accompanying them were other distinguished regimental guests, contributing to the sense of unity and shared purpose that defines The Rifles Regiment.
At the dinner Her Majesty praised the regiment’s continued commitment to excellence in a heartfelt speech. Other highlights included a captivating Bugle display (with entertaining support act from Senior Bugle Major Lewis) as well as an impressive presentation into Operation INTERFLEX from 2Lt Dinkele and Sjt Lucas, both from 2 RIFLES.
Guests were treated to an overview of the training provide to Ukrainian soldiers and an understanding of the regiment’s operational activities, emphasizing the importance
of their work in maintaining security and stability.
Rightly, the focal point of the evening was the recognition of outstanding individuals who had demonstrated exceptional dedication and skill across the Five Pillars. It
