JUNIORS WEEKEND
Spider T
Junior Cadets from Hull, Scarborough, Harrogate and York attended a weekend at Hull Unit.
A full programme of visits was organised to the Hull Fishing Heritage Centre, HMS Pickle and Spider T, The Street Life Museum (on the Saturday) and a visit to Humber Rescue on
the Sunday morning.
The Juniors achieved
8 Modules of
their Training
Programme and
Certificates for
using Morse
Code to write
their name. The
weekend gave
the cadets the
opportunity to
make new friends,
learn new things and
at the same time
have fun.

FESTIVAL OF REMEMBRANCE – HULL CITY HALL
Once again, the Cadets took part in this annual event. Lt (SCC) Janice Spicer MBE was delighted to provide uniforms (from her collection!) to showcase the 55 year history of females at TS Iron Duke. The other cadets and Royal Marine Cadets

were also present to help out, not forgetting our cadets who were Standard Bearers. The Lord Mayor’s Cadet and Lord-Lieutenant of the East Riding of Yorkshire’s Cadet were also present to escort and welcome the VIPs.
