Introducing James Smith
the man behind Henderson
Connellan, Kettering. James
began his career in estate
agency as a ‘Saturday lad’
in 1992 when he was 17
years old. He started his full
time career working for RCI
in Kettering, later joining
Henderson Connellan in 1999 as a negotiator.
James in now Director of our Kettering branch and works with a highly experienced team
of professionals, all dedicated to providing outstanding service.
James lives in Loddington with his wife and 3 children. Mad for Formula 1 and the Mercedes team James has ‘slowed’ his driving since the arrival of child seats!
Sarah Smith
Associate Director
Everything to do with nance comes via our nancial wizard, Sarah, which is very important when it comes to accurate accounting for our Landlords and Tenants.
Sarah joined Henderson
Connellan in 2007 from
a background in corporate nance within the banking sector. So a depth of experience and ef ciency is prevalent in everything she does.
Out of work Sarah tells us that her family of husband and three children are her all consuming passion, besides which tinkling the ivories and watching a good rugger match ticks the boxes.
Favourite restaurant – Wainwrights, Lake District
Emma Harling
Sales Support
Emma joined the company in 2016 working within
our vibrant and very busy Administration and Sales Progression Department. Fortunately Emma enjoys a challenge, having previ- ously worked in specialist travel with a market leading provider.
Emma, originally from Aylesbury has lived in Ket- tering for nearly eight years with her husband and two children. Emma is also an avid Formula 1 fan, although watching the skills of the drivers hasn’t helped with her recent driving lessons!
Favourite restaurant – The Red Lion, Welham
Adam Brewster
Sales Manager
Adam has worked for Henderson Connellan
since 2002 and brings to our Kettering of ce a vast amount of knowledge and experience in estate agency.
He started his career in
estate agency at our Market
Harborough of ce as a
Sales Negotiator and has been promoted through the ranks to a position of Sales Manager at our highly successful Kettering of ce. His results
over the years have been second to none, as he has achieved top negotiator of the year more times than any other individual in the company’s history!
Outside of work he enjoys spending time with
his wife and two sons. He stays very active with hobbies including tness training, football, golf and is a huge Formula 1 fan.
His favourite restaurant is the Tavern Company in Liverpool. For his sins he follows Arsenal FC!
Sam Shackleton
Marketing and Sales
Sam joined Henderson
Connellan in the summer
of 2015, having lived in
Kettering all of his life. His
local knowledge is second
to none, which comes in
handy when navigating
Kettering traf c en route
to appointments! With
previous experience of
both Residential Sales and Lettings, Sam initially worked in our lettings department before joining the sales team. Sam also produces our brochures, oorplans and inspiring headlines and story captions – where his imagination can run riot!!
Sam is happy to help with any questions you have regarding the marketing of your property online.
As a keen snooker player and cyclist, this helps Sam to keep the calories down for when he visits his favourite Restaurant, Taste of India in Rothwell.
Jessica Deacon
Senior Sales Negotiator
Jessica joined Henderson
Connellan in 2013. Jessica
has a strong property
background having studied
Property, Agency and
Surveying at Cirencester.
Furthermore, she has worked
within the property industry
since 2004 so Jessica brings
a wealth of experience and diversity to the team.
Jessica’s unique and effective approach to estate agency will ensure you will nd the perfect home or investment.
When not at the of ce Jessica enjoys spending time with her daughter who is a keen equestrian enthusiast and socialising with friends, usually at her favourite restaurant – The Red Lion at East Haddon.
Karen Mascall
Administration Manager
Karen joined the Market Harborough team as a part time administrator in 2013 following a successful career in banking. Her role quickly developed into assisting the Property Management Team. Relishing the opportunity
of a further challenge, Karen joined the Kettering Team in 2014 in the capacity of full time Administration Manager and Sales progressor, a role that has proved both challenging and rewarding.
For our clients, moving home isn’t always plain sailing, however, with Karen’s hard work and experience liaising with buyers, sellers and solicitors this helps to make the process a smoother experience.
Outside of work, Karen enjoys travelling the world and short breaks in the wonderful UK countryside. Favourite restaurant – El Bodegón de Juan Maria in Canillas de Aceituno which is her favourite part of Spain.
