Get Up and Go!
Older adults in Thrapston wishing to improve upon their strength and balance can take advantage of a new programme at The Nene Centre in Thrapston on a Tuesday morning.
Freedom Leisure, in partnership with Northamptonshire Sport, have teamed up to offer a Get Up & Go session at the Nene Centre every Tuesday between 11.30am and 12.15pm. As a result of regular participation in each session, participants will be able to improve upon their strength and balance to prevent falls.
Each session costs £3 and will be led by a qualified Otago instructor.

Nearly new sale
Nearly new clothing and accessories will be on sale in St James Church Hall on Saturday 25th September (Thrapston Garage Sale Day) from 9am-1pm so pop in for a browse and a cuppa. Refreshments will be available in the hall and the church. If you have any nearly new clothes and accessories in good condition to donate to the sale please email tdichurches@gmail.com to
arrange drop off or collection.
