Watersports Weekend
Our watersports weekend was an unforgettable experience packed with adventure, skill-building, and team spirit.
Saturday was a full-on day spent out on the water, where we threw ourselves into kayaking, paddle boarding, and canoeing. We tackled various command tasks that pushed us to communicate effectively and solve problems as a team.
Capsize drills were a key part of the day, teaching us how to stay calm and act quickly if we found ourselves in the water. It was challenging but rewarding, and we encouraged each other every step of the way.
In the evening we gathered for a fantastic BBQ social, which gave us the chance to relax, swap stories, and enjoy some well-deserved food. The night got even better with a friendly clay shooting competition, where we all had a go and cheered each other on. It was a fun and unexpected addition to the weekend.
On Sunday, we were back on the water, further building our skills and soaking up the last moments of our weekend together.
I left with not only improved water safety and teamwork skills but also some great memories with friends. It was the perfect mix of challenge, learning, and fun!
