Amongst other events, Dudley Branch enjoyed Armed Forces Day 2018 and our Summer Lunch.
KIDDERMINSTER BRANCH
We continue to meet regularly and represent the association around Kidderminster. Some of our highlights this year are our Kidderminster Branch Committee hosting
a dinner at The Cavalier Public House, Kidderminster, on the 13 September 2018, to thank those who contribute to the success of the Branch. The Action Plan
of Fund Raising over the next few months was discussed, but mainly a good time socialising and getting to know one another was the agenda for the day. Another successful day was when branch members along with other local associations and the RBL were invited to join Pupils, Parents & Staff of Wolverley CE Secondary School Service of Remembrance, of the ending of Hostilities 100 years ago, and the sacrifices made by the Men and Families of Wolverley during that conflict, and all Hostilities since.
NOTTINGHAM BRANCH
On 6 April 2018, Nottingham branch took part in the ceremony for Badajoz Day. It was held in the Market Square as the Castle was closed for refurbishment. Following
the ceremony, which attracted a large audience in its new location, the attendees were invited into the Council House for refreshments.
