                                 Scottish Branch – 200 Club
Thank you to all members who have submitted a Scottish Branch 200 club form, your support makes a big difference. 2024’s prize draws are running from March to Dec to allow for more applications to come in before we start.
Below are the first draw results for 2024. Congratulations.
Our Scottish Branch members received a 200-club form within their January magazine for 2024, but you do not have to be a Scottish Branch member (or even an NVS member) to join, so please encourage friends and
family too.
The prize draw is taken at the end of
each month, so make sure you send
in your forms for 2024 or print an extra form or two from the web site which you can find a PDF copy in the “Resources” section of the NVS web site to enable you to print one out.
Alternatively please contact Gareth Cameron. 2 Dyke Nook, Yeathouse Road, Frizington, Cumbria CA26 3QL, Telephone: 07935 117 397 or email: garethcameron04@gmail.com
Prize money is dependent on how many 200 Club members we have with half the revenue generated going towards the Scottish Branch funds and half going towards the 200-club prize money. Thanks again for your support, it really makes a difference.

Annual Garden Visit
As you may know, every year, the Scottish Branch organises an annual branch garden visit , and we look to choose various parts of the country with the aim to visit a special garden that’s open to the public followed by lunch and a visit to one or two of our Scottish Branch Member’s gardens which is always great to pick up hints, tips and ideas.
This year, we are delighted to be visiting the Rothesay on the Isle of Bute, home
to top grower, Niall Currie, Mount Stuart Kitchen Garden and Ardencraig Gardens (a must-see visit about 1 mile from Rothesay).
Ardencraig Gardens grow a wide range of dahlias, including some old Rothesay varieties.
Because of having to book a bus this year and glean early feedback to see if it was feasible, we sent out an email broadcast to our members with a view to gather interest for this visit and I’m happy to say that we have a full quota. Sorry for any members not on email this year, but it’s a one-off.
For those who showed interest in the trip, I will have already been back in touch to re- confirm and provided details. Many thanks to Niall Currie for helping organise this day out, we are looking forward it.
  Scottish Branch
polo shirts and
baseball caps
Here we have longstanding committee member, George Bartling, Treasurer, Liz Loudon and Show Manager, Willie MacPhee sporting our branch polo shirts and caps. Please let me know if you are interested in ordering any shirts, caps or fleeces and we will pull together the numbers for the next order later this year.
