Staff at 868 (Mirfield) Squadron identified a need
to enhance their ability to support cadets with some
new computer equipment. In response to this need
Civilian Instructor Sue Doubell prepared a bid for
funding to Mirfield Educational Charity, to provide for

the Squadron who were then able to purchase the
equipment and get the new laptops delivered and set
up for use.
On the very first night of having the laptops at

of their classification syllabus.
Squadron Commander Flight Lieutenant Peter
Doubell said “In this increasingly technological age it
is so important to have the equipment to support our
cadets and their development in the wide variety of
learning and activities that are available to them and
a very big thank you to Mirfield Educational Charity
for the generous grant enabling this to happen.”
