Annual Stonefall
Cemetery
Commemoration
By AUO George Gillson-Gant
On Sunday 15th December, cadets from B
Company's Harrogate and Knaresborough
Detachments paraded at Stonefall Cemetery
in Harrogate to commemorate those who died
in WWII.
The cadets placed candles on the
gravestones before attending a short
remembrance service. Cadet Lilah Marsden
laid a wreath on behalf of the detachments,
whilst Cadet Jemima Dickie gave a reading
acknowledging the 80th anniversary of D-Day.
Well done to all who attended.
END OF AN ERA
FOR CADET
RSM CLARK
by SSI Fiona McCallion
Thursday 16th Jan 2025 was a day of mixed emotions for Cadet RSM Phoebe
Clark. She was celebrating a significant milestone in her life – her 18th birthday
but, sadly, this also meant that her time as a cadet will come to an end.
Starting at Duncombe Barracks in York in 2019, she got off to a flying start and
has never looked back. She has taken part in activities such as parachuting at
Netheravon, and the prestigious Master Cadet course at Frimley Park.
On her final night, she came back to Duncombe Barracks, to where it all
began, for her final Training Evening. The Cadet RSM's service to B Company and
Yorkshire (N&W) ACF have been exemplary, and she will be sorely missed.
Thank you for all your work, Cadet RSM Clark, and good luck in all of your future
endeavours!
